Long 12 hour shifts but you get a fair amount of half hour paid breaks, at least 4 a day. A mixture of 14 day and night shifts with 14 days off. 

Very engaging work if your mechanically minded and can be very physically demanding at times.

Higher management are fine and accomadated me on a couple of occasions but my team leader and his asst were terrible, it took me several months to realise why myself and others were not getting advanced in our pay, press your team leader after 3 months and if you don't get advanced, you will probably have one of the greedy team leaders.

Lots of benefits to working there, would have definitely enjoyed and stayed in the job if not for my greedy Team Leader and his Trainer Asst, but 6 months of their behaviour was enough for me.  If your gonna work there, go above your team leaders head if you don't get the pay advancement after 3 months.

I don’t think there is any stressful part in working for the company

Everything about the company. They treat all employees equally and respect all employees equally

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I can’t really say because I don’t work full time yet am still on part time

You will work in all areas goods in, dispatch, mixing and oven even though they are pay different for these areas you will work there on your lower wage and you are all over the place covering other jobs because the factory is trying to run on less people and make all other employees do more work with more responsibility for no extra money other than being grateful that you even have a job.
It’s very clear that the company is happy to get rid of people and just employ new people.

I've worked here for many years, at the beginning it used to be a great place to work, management looked after their staff, it was a really family orientated company with many benefits. Now the company is been dragged to the ground by the new management team who have no respect or care for their staff and if you have a complaint all you are told is leave if your not happy. Most days your left short staffed and pay is less then desirable. HR have no interest in helping their staff, you get lied to all the time, overall don't waste your time.

Jackson’s exhibits a toxic work environment characterised by a lack of professionalism and inadequate support from management. Poor wages for working nites.Holidays not given as days off so you dont get paid then at end of the year if you have a few weeks left they refuse them and you lose them.Dont get put over to next year and they keep the money.Machinery always breaking down and hardly repaired.Just makes it hard pkace to work plus always getting grassed up for the smallest things.You cant trust anyone

Overall the 2 years of working there wasnt bad , it was super fun and the great people ive met there , could be better but i couldn't comlaint.
The workplace in had lots of breaks especially in the 12 hours shift , which was 4 breaks , 30 min each .


Great onboarding process. Company really invests in you if you work hard. Scope to progress in most areas. Inclusive culture supported by a fantastic HR team. Plenty of other benefits as well with the rewards platform, daily bread allowance and free parking.

The company got worse every year that I was there. 
New md every year and new focus rather than doing the basics right. Departmental politics was terrible and job promotion was a joke unless your face fits. Rewarded for hard work with more work. Wage went up only about 4 percent in total in nearly 5 years.
