Very clicky and full of Geordies that look after their selves I worked for kaefer for over 5 years the come on to this Nuclear site full of promises and that it was a family firm but only a few months in they was bullying and back stabbing they put the men off against each other I wasn’t a good atmosphere to work in they always messed up  your pay up wasn’t never right week to week stay well clear of this company

I worked 50-60hrs a week doing 12hr nightshifts. I had no life, but the pay is so bad if you did anything less you wouldn't be able to survive. It's a very very very toxic work environment. Like vultures, people will pretend to be your friend but try to get you sacked behind your back. The people there are insufferable and having to spend my life with them mentally killed me. Extremely grateful to be out of this job and excited to have a life again.

Never work for them again in my life

When they lay you off we no redundant money or holiday pay 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not very good  they think of them selfs not the workers 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Bad management they thinking of money not what your doing

not a place i would recommend to any friend or colleague that i like. 
Profit is at the for front of all jobs.

Managers and supervisors in positions that they can not delver on.

Good projects at a multi discipline level, allowing a wide range of skills to harnessed in one place.

In my time at kaefer I worked with some of the best insulators in the metal shop and on site everyday I learned something new and I still am learning.

German Family owned Company in specialized Contracting services in different industiral filed especially Oil & Gas, Energy sector operating in over 50+ Countries. Good employer to work with.

Lots of overtime available, good pay… not appreciated for hard work, best and fastest workers are treated with more work.

Good group of people to work with though, can have a good laugh when working with the right lads..

it’s an alright first job, just be prepared for long hours, not getting paid correctly every week,  favouritism & a lot of fire fighter supervisors won’t go on board. You will be thrown in the deep end to do all their dirty work.
