A good company to work for with many benefits and good staff. They offered me a great boost into industrial engineering and allowed me to utilise my extensive 3D knowledge.
Management were ok and drove the workplace forward.
Best part of the job were my colleagues and and comeraderie we'd built up.
One of the hardest parts was learning the job from ground up which put my skills and knowledge to the real test.
The company has great views on progressing it's engineers but unfortunately have been hit hard by the oil price crash which resulted in many voluntary and non-voluntary redundancies.

I loved working in Stroud with this Company, they were very professional, fair and supportive.
Typical day at work was to review and record all new data that had shown up in the records.
Having a job I could call my own and grow the systems in my own way (little interference by Management) whilst they did have an overall say in its creation.

Very enjoyable and interesting job.
However,it had an old school bullying attitude via the middle management,resulting in many gifted workers leaving.
 I learned many new skills,including precision and heavy assembly,and high pressure pneumatic and hydraulic testing.
All work had to be precisely adhered to,following detailed engineering drawings and strict testing procedures.All stages also had to be logged as they were completed.

This is an oppressive company that expect workers to stand idle at the beginning of the month and do excessive overtime at the end of the month in order to try and hit hit difficult targets. The workforce are a good bunch but the atmosphere is awful. The workforce carry the stress for the lack of management and planning

Until redundancy’s it was good, bad management created problems that lead to redundancy, short sighted managers and lack of progressive sales team. Disjointed thinking, bad organisation. 

Small batch work production a lot of use of jigs/fixtures. Mostly inconel and duplex stainless steel. Programming offline by production engineering just set tools and adjust offsets
