What is the best part of working at the company?
The people - the actual people who work but are the lowest paid 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress but I am very chilled 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awful.  Managers who are all saying and doing different things.  Lack of communication, lying about flexibility as there is none.  Some managers are more flexible than others and as a temp my recruitment contract was over ridden!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Repetitive and boring.  Not very forward thinking company.  Everything done on spreadsheets

A valuable job which enabled me to keep up to date with training and new practice.
I have learned to be confident and competent in triaging from cradle to grave. 
Management were understanding and always contactable. 
The hardest part of the job was the continual monitoring of ensuring that appropriate calls were in a relevant order of priority and advising call handlers of good practice.
Other staff members and the team work was enjoyable.

Working evenings and weekends the pay which is just above minimum wage is an insult. There is a lot of responsibility for controlled drugs, medication and equipment,,which is not reflected in pay. Seeing how some doctors will do anything to avoid work is disturbing. Challenge anything and line manager would offer no support (suspect want easy life). Some colleagues very professional, most get away with as much as possible.

Ive really enjoyed working as a Dental Nurse before the contract ended. Ive been able to work hours to fit round my availibility.
All the dentists I worked with were happy to work as a team, most of the other nurses were professional and I will miss my time working for LCD
Unfortunately a lot of nurses were paid almost double what the new comers get due to being TUPED over

as above, as aove, full of promises and pretend they care about your welfare and career progression. they do providing  your face fits. Full of excuses when the proverbial hits the fan.


Very worthwhile employment visiting people who needed to be seen by a Doctor when their own surgerys were closed and was not necessary for hospital visit. Good team of people to work with. We all worked together as a team to complete the cases as quickly and effectively.

12 hour shifts sometimes back to back. Having to cover for staff absence. Low pay.. evenings/weekend working. Can be very stressful at times especially if you have a medical emergency to deal with or if it is very busy. An ok experience but I would never do this type of job again 

I worked Nights 12  hour shifts at local care direct the hardest part of my job was making sure all patients needs were met.  I learned to ask questions to patients and give them the correct care with help from advisors, nurses, docors and paramedics.

Providing out of hours service to gps and patients. Nice culture and atmosphere, staff are  welcoming, friendly and supportive. Managers are accommodating. Every day is a work in progress, always learning different things.

Good pay and flexable shifts mean its easy to fit this employment into your lifestyle.
