The working hours are difficult to get used to. During winter there are less hours as you can imagine it is dependent on the seasonal tourists. Winter we start at 03:30am/04:00am and will finish anywhere between 9:30am and 10:30am.

You have the rest of they day to yourself, however you will find yourself going to sleep early in the evenings due to how tired you are. To begin with this is fine, however if you're single and enjoy social time with friends of an evening, that will be sacrificed. (because they usually have a normal 9 - 5 job).

Saturday mornings we start at 02:00am and finish between 06:30am and 07:30am. If you're doing "full time" the Saturdays are not optional, we have to do them. Winter time we barely make 35 hours over 6 nights.

During summer we can easily hit 50 hours a week. Annual pay is paid like no other place i have ever worked. You get paid it the week before you actually have the time off.

What this means is, you get two weeks worth of payment (if you only take a week) in one payment. Which will take you really far over the tax bracket for the weekly pay, and you get taxed on all the annual leave.

We also have to pay the company to have tea and coffee every week, just short of four pounds.

Early start but that means an early finish. Every other weekend off. Work/life balance is hard to find in typical jobs like this but this job really works for me. We all work together to get the jobs done, so if someone is really busy, we all help out. I work with a great bunch so that helps make the day fly by and making the day enjoyable. You get a free pasty/sweet treat whilst working and a hot drink, another bonus. My only negative is the pay, it is minimum wage which is not great. My last job paid more per hour, however as I mentioned before, my work/life balance is so much better now so it balances itself out for me.

Stressful management need more training they treat you  like a number not a person your not aloud to have a opinion if you do you are penalised for it they like to cut corners instead of spending money on decent equipment they let you struggle with what you got your expected to know what your doing with no training the people you work with are nice tho just the upper heads 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Love working for the company, as it’s family run it’s very chill and feels like a big family. Always been treated fairly and I’ve made loads of friends over the years of working here :)

Dealing with negative customers

So good, happy and fun friendly staff

higher up  management needs people sklls and  staff training on how to communicate , shop staff fun and friendly place to work though fast paced though
