yes wages can be late and they're not straight forward but they do pay full amount, it's possibly for interest rates with leaving money in business account

management prior to 2022/23 is really good, management after was really disrespectful and it's what lead to losing the HA Civils Contract after I left, HR are hard working, the family in management are hard working, and I have respect for payroll and patrol drivers, I do not respect the family friends as managers due to making all the best guards on a 0 hour contract with a transfer undertaking (tupe) just because they don't like them, please don't have this reflect on management they're really good it's solely the family friends with poor mentality thinking they can do as they please because they think they can get away with it and treat the best guards like s-h-i-t

working here is good but the best advice I can give is leave the pension scheme when joining because salary information will be withheld, please let me not before criticising nationwide that every security employment has took advantage of this exploit and you have to respect the hustle 

I hope nationwide strives past it's mistakes and the heavy burden of family friends in management, I do recommend working for nationwide it's a good job clients sometimes (depending on the client) don't take work too seriously and like to fool around and be unprofessional but you learn to work with them with experience

I apologies to the honest hard working managers for this review but it had to be said about the bad side of management which is the family friends in a crucial important position of management in 2022, I believe theirs still chance for nationwide to be the best it can be

They only care about clients, if client is not happy they remove u from site without a notice or give u a feedback why they did that. They simply put clients before anyone else. They do not pay at end of month they pay u after 2 months. No uniform. No management. You want to talk to manager they do not respond to u, they read ur message but choose not to respond. So poor management, so poor communication, and so poor organisation. I am being generous giving 1 star rating honestly 

Bad company to work for! They only get guards through the job centre who make them take the jobs! Constantly changing the rules for check calls. Trying to pass blame on to all employees Inc liability if stuff gets stolen it comes out your wages and then not even paying you on time or correct and making it difficult to get in touch with them with the 0800 number which goes to a mobile. Have to say its one of the most difficult and worse companies I have worked for and many others have said the same! If you have applied don’t go for an interview! 

i first started and was given 68 hour work weeks, i asked for a weekend of after 3 months and they stopped giving shifts all together stopped answering the phone and ignored me, similar thing happened to another guard who was always coming in on his days off. i fully understand its a zero hour contract but out of all of the men there not 1 of them was man enough to tell me i was sacked or they have got no work.

This is the worst security company to work for they are constantly changing the rules on booking on and off ! Lack of uniform they leave you on dirty sites with no facilities and they pick at you for anything.  Their always blaming the guards for stupid petty things always changing check calls constantly.  Not a good company at all dont bother wasting your time.

Not getting your wages on time, waiting for 3 weeks to get paid

The working enviroment is toxic.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Opening & closing a gate, banking traffic on & off site.

Overall poor excuse of a firm never have I ever been asked to stay off for 8 days and not even get paid as they bring someone else back onto the site and tell you you’ve been client removed only then too find out through the contractor (Grahems) that there has been no complaint raised to HR would not recommend working for them !

lack of uniform,underpaid, long hours, if nxet officer didn't turn in you was expected to stay so your shift goses from 12 hours to 24.
I was working 12 hours on a building site alone.
patroling with no lights, tackling members of the public which would wonder on site.

They will forget to pay you, I mean you'll get it eventually but it could be a fortnight late.

If you are unemployed and in Liverpool don't tell the dole about your badge or they will force you to go here.

You can still look for security work without the "help" from the benefits office.

After successfully getting my job here, I was welcomed into the head office team who were all lovely and helpful in getting me set up. There is a great working environment and culture here and they priortise their staffs wellbeing.
