As an operator expected to run upto 8/9 machines at once and be responsible for packing, quality checking and disposing of parts. Also expected to cover other operators break times meaning you could be watching double the amount of machines. 
You are a number on a board and that's the end of it. You are also the sole person of blame for anything that goes wrong to do with quality which is meant to be monitored by people on more money than you, very low morale on shop floor and is every man for himself.
The only pro of this job is that you can be the worst employee in the world and they won't sack you because there turn over if staff is higher than ever! This makes it incredibly hard to even try and do the job correctly as everyone around you is cutting corners and basically doing diddly squat. 
If your face doesn't fit your not moving up and supervisors / lead ops have there little friend groups who just allocate the best jobs to there favourites.
Huge number of staff crusing by to retirment meaning that younger people end up carrying the weight of people who struggle to do the job.
You could break a Fitbit with the amount of steps your going to do at this place. 

Great set of lads in the warehouse to work with. Management could communicate more regularly between the warehouse and production staff. If the warehouse staff need to send finished goods out to the Customer, then the shop floor should be sufficiently staffed and equipped to produce the required goods. Planning the production of finished goods was always an issue, warehouse staff were running around looking for shortages when it shouldn't be their job to do so. There is a 'them and us' culture which needs breaking in order to succeed.

The management here are so unprofessional,they force you to work 4/5 hours with no breaks and overloads people with excessive workload. During my time i Heard one of the managers from Dcell(SF) slagging off members of staff and not being so pleasant towards new comers. They have a poor engineer team as it takes hours for them to get round to fixing the machines but then management will try to punish you for not meeting the KPI. Really bad company and lazt staff and would encourage anybody not to reccomend working here.   

Should be called tenko not nifco. Ran like a prison camp. More than happy to let rubbish quality products be produced, as long as they have a long enough chain of command that they can have a "blame merry-go-round", and not actually do anything to improve what's made. Like banging your head against a wall trying to make improvements at nifco, as long as your bin isn't skew whiff, and your coat is hanging in the right place, they think that's "business improvement" they've a lot to learn........

Lead ops are all great, if you go to work and do the job required you are left alone, there is targets to reach but no pressure, in an 8 hour shift your entitled to 2 x 25min breaks which is a great incentive, there is plenty of facilities on site for refreshments, some staff think they are above you and will try to speak down to you cause they have worked there longer but you always get one in every work place.

Been at Nifco now for 3 years and they will still not give me a long term contract. 
Business is so bad that they're laying people of left right and center. There is a right way of getting rid of people and theres also the Nifco way, without warning a member of the HR staff just walk up to you whilst working and march you off site without no warning what so ever, how cruel is that !!.
This person carrying out this act has no compassion or morals at all. STAY AWAY

No communication between management. 
Overtime for favoured staff members. 
Management sit on their computers looking at holidays & bbc news. 
They’d rather pay you a flat wage and have too many staff than giving out overtime and making sure that their staff have a good wage.
Technicians can’t do their job but can talk there way out of it. 
Management don’t admit when their wrong
They promote the wrong people and don’t try to  fix it and everyone else has to suffer for it.  

You have to fight for basic human rights and needs in this place absolutely horrible management!! Wouldn’t let my worst enemy work in this place! Lead operatives have their favourites and if your not one your life in work will be made a misery! Management talk to and treat their staff with no respect what so ever! Your just a number, they only care about what goes out the door not who comes in! Temporary contacts for the first 2 years is a joke your job is never secure!  

You’re expected to work until you nearly drop for people who spend most of the day on their phones, talking and not working at all, but they’re all on at least £7 an hour more. You won’t experience anywhere like this place. They could also put people on permanent shifts but won’t so you’re also constantly tired doing 3 shift rotation. 

Horrible place to work office staff don't have a clue what they are doing. Under paid for what they expect of you expected to work weekends when they want you to doesn't matter if you have kids or responsibilitys they don't care everyone talks about everyone behind each other's backs management are terrible overall if your thinking of applying for a job at Nifco don't do it !  Place needs shutting down.
