An absolute joke of an agency. There are some very bad apples who have been allowed to cause a horrible place to work without intervention from management; bringing in personal business and causing scenes at work. Staff have left the business due to this disgraceful behaviour. 

Staff will run to the MD to get their own way, even if they are not safe to be sent into schools. Very high turnover - for staff who are left expected to work while they are claiming furlough money from the government. 

We were told the company cannot afford to pay commission this year - yet we billed so much in 2019? Where has this money gone? Senior management's collection of cars?

Staff are NOT managed at all - left to do what they want as long as they are billing. Toxic work environment - a very fake atmosphere which they attempt to hide with music and forced social media moments that look like a police line-up. Monthly comms meetings that are an absolute waste of time - I haven't seen any change from these whatsoever.

Personal information is constantly spread throughout the office - even if management are meant to keep it confidential.

Candidates have been treated appallingly during lockdown - barely any communication from the company and left it to the Umbrella company to inform them at 6:00pm on the 6th July that furlough would not continue over August. Candidate queries barely acknowledged - Now Ed cannot fork out £50k to run payroll to ensure they are looked after. Again, where have previous profits gone that were bragged about in meetings? We aren't going to have anyone LEFT who wants to work for us after the way this has been handled.

I'm sure once we are up and running (even though we've been made to work during furlough) they will lie through their teeth about how they have all the best vacancies and they're the only ones who can get you into schools.

Vote with your feet and leave - I certainly am.

Good for finding work but in my opinion I am not paid enough for the workload I am given. I have a permanent placement at a school through the agency but am still an agency worker (they take a cut of my wage even though they aren't currently finding me work, I already have it). 
I work 5 (full) days a week but am still expected to plan lessons, yet am only paid from 8:30-3:10. Hardly any free periods during my day to plan these lessons, so my options are 
1) do it in my 35 min lunch break 
or 2) in my own time at home. 
I can't speak for other schools, but this is what I have come across in my experience. 

Also, any days absent are not paid. This includes half days and school holidays, so the two weeks off at Easter aren't paid etc. 
'Holiday pay' is part of your wages saved by payroll to give you during the half term/term breaks, so not actual holiday pay (as it's already your money!)

Overall, it's a good way to find a job but the pay is hardly liveable.

Last minute calls to go to schools which then leads to schools blaming you for turning up late. 
No accountability from schools if they change their mind last minute about calling supply because we are an expendable workforce. 
In terms of flexibility if you don’t accept work then they’ll hold it against you and won’t call you out for the rest of the week. 
Sent to multiple schools for roles which were not suited for me. They’ll basically just put any individual in a class as long as it generates revenue for them. 

They began using Umbrella payment which was shockingly bad and ended up costing more to stay employed. 

They would falsely advertise payment ranges for roles and talk about ‘experience’ when in reality teachers should be paid a minimum of what is on the NASWUT pay scales. 
Best to use this agency as a backup for last minute work which you don’t mind leaving.

Some of schools work in are lovely and you help make a difference.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Consultants don't listen to you and mess you about with   3/4 different schools get sent  to in the morning to be told you are not needed go elsewhere and you have to chase agreed pay if over basic day rate for weeks.

Depends on your school, otherwise you are left to just get on with it by Agency company

Hard work but often enjoyable non the less the children and good colleagues in the right school can make all the difference.

The staff are friendly and effecient.

I don't think I can say that my experience with them was stressful.

Being effective, not wasting time, doing the job right

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Receiving a message about the school I should go to (with details like contact person and address, time to be there, ..). Going to  the school, signing in and receiving a time table for the day. Following the time table. Signing out and being done for the day.

looking after children's general needs and helping them to learn  in a fun and loving way in a safe environment.
It helped me complete my level 2 &3 in childcare and learning development and other relevant certificates as shown in cv and how to comply with policies and procedures .
worked with range of people of different ages and cultural bank grounds and different approaches and ways of doing things.
got on well with all my fellow workers we was like a family together ourselves.
keeping up to date with everything to do with children because it constantly changes.
to see the children grow in all areas ready for the bigger school in a fun happy loving way.

I enjoy working with the kids and there is a large variety of schools on their roster. I have learnt a lot and I believe that has helped me in this career. The communication with the agency is a fundamental problem. I have been with several different people at the agency. One of those was great to work with but no longer works there, the rest have been impossible to get hold of, inconsistent and in some cases down right unprofessional. The pay is low compared to other agencies and I would recommend speaking to other agency employees to get an idea of how little you’re being paid in comparison. 

My typical work day has been at many schools but always enjoyable as i have a true passion for my work. I have learned that there are individuals at my workplaces who enhance my work life. The management are always there to help and very understanding, my workplace is multi cultural i find this interesting and sometimes enjoyable, The hardest part of my job is making sure i dont take to much on as i do get engrossed.  The most enjoyable part of the job is when the children i teach progress in their learning.

Really not a good company to work for. 
They are so unreliable it's crazy. 
Majority of the time I had no work. Even though I was available everyday. 
Very difficult to get hold of people. Phones, emails and texts don't get answered.
Majority of the time it's a phone call at 7am asking if your available to go in. Always last minute. Never any notice and if you say that you can't go in, they go mardy with you, and then you don't get any work for a couple weeks (basically like their trying to disciplining you).
Wouldn't recommend to anyone. 

Great Company to work for, team work is embedded within the culture, so no matter how difficult the task, there is always help on hand. 
The management team, look after their specialist areas within the business, so you are supported by number of individuals with experience and expertise to ensure you succeed in every aspect of your role. More importantly they guide you through any difficult moments. The job itself, requires hard work, organisation and the desire to succeed.
