So after a stringent interview process ,telephone interview,test,interview and then another test offered a role at Oodle,from very small beginnings of a handful of staff to around 50+ in a matter of months,the company is growing at an amazing pace so where it could end up is anyone's guess at the moment,the hours are ok,hour for lunch,free coke/food,lunch bought once every fortnight so they do look after their staff,wages are average but you can make up with overtime and one Saturday in 4,the company is developing all the time and bringing more and more people in to improve the business and at the moment it's a see where it is going and go along for the ride and to try and enjoy it,the staff are good,there is a good mix of people and with the company being so new no one is much more knowledgeable or more experienced than the next person,so no egos or anyone thinking they are better than anyone around them because they've been there longer or know it better be aide in truth they don't, my advice is give it a go, see where it can take you

Leaving this job was the best thing I have ever done. 
There is zero work/life balance. If there are still calls queuing at 6pm when you are meant to be finishing your shift, you are not able to leave until all calls have been taken. 
Your toilet breaks are monitored and you will be pulled if you go over the amount of time they consider an acceptable amount. 
They preach about mental wellbeing but have little to no concern about how the workload and high pressure (due to extremely high turnover) has on their employees. 
Pay is NOT equal across the department. You will be expected to train new starters who will be getting paid a considerable amount more than you despite doing the exact same job. 
You are expected to take suicide calls and are not allowed to transfer to a manager despite having no official training in how to manage and cope with these kind of calls, even though they happen quite regularly. You can have a 5 minute breather after the call but you are then expected to continue your day as normal. 
This job ruined my mental health, if you would like to retain your sanity then apply for jobs literally anywhere else. 

At the start the workplace was amazing and there were some amazing people in management positions however, since the change in top management the hard working managers have been asked to leave the business. The workload is immense and there is no work-life balance. You would easily end up working over 50hrs per week with no overtime pay. There have been so many changes within such a short timespan and the senior management is happy for all the good hardworking individuals to leave the business. A lot of the colleagues have left and the remaining are looking to move as soon as a good opportunity arises. 
Salary is decent however, some individuals are on higher pay within the same role but they don't work on the same level as the ones with lower pay in the same team. 


Fantastic place to work ! Great Staff engagement, training and support throughout. In the last 2 years I feel I've really progressed, gained so much knowledge and experience that has truly set me up for an amazing career in talent and financial services.    We are a team that really works together - everyone at Oodle has a say and can ask questions  - open forum in Team Meetings  - CEO and other Senior leads are very very approachable. 
Work is varied and challenging  - you are empowered to take ownership and if you need help and support its not far away. 




Very flexible working arrangements, with office and work from home
People are really lovely, everyone pro-active
Culture is friendly and quite relaxed
Management vary, as with any big company (over 600 people now) but on the whole really great managers who listen and like to help their teams learn and grow
Everything moves and changes with astonishing pace, so not everyones cup of tea but if you like a more dynamic workplace then you'll love it

It's all lies in the interview, there is no work/life balance here.

You are expected to commit fully to the job, doesn't matter what your role is they expect you to work long hours to get the job done resulting in lots of unpaid overtime.

They make out It's all about mindfulness and your wellbeing but in reality they do not care and just want you to work long hours.

I've never worked in a company with such a hypocritical bunch of Directors preaching about the good culture but then threatening you if you can't work over.

Best thing I ever did was leave this company.

Having worked in Asset Finance for many years I have seen Managers who talk the talk regarding work/life balance, support, training, team building etc but who believe that saying the words is enough.  It isn't!  At Oodle it is more than just talk, it is embedded in the culture of the business.  I have been here 7 months now and feel totally supported by my team Leader, Manager, and wider team and the teams I work alongside.  Working at Oodle is a breath of fresh air - people have helped me to learn the role and now I can help others.  

Plus the socials are great fun!

Working at Oodle certainly keeps you on your toes!
They are growing and developing through innovation with a truly customer centric ethos.
During my time here I have been both challenged and inspired!
If you embrace change and have a strong customer focused work ethic Oodle is the place to be.
There are lots and lots of perks including food and social events but for me it is the people that make the company a great place to be!


Sold a completely different job during interview. Spent months being told to keep working for career progression that never came, benchmark constantly moving. Always a rotation of managers, all of whom had poor management skills. No thanks for hard work, overtime or constant pressure and stress. Asked to train individuals being paid a higher salary on entry to the company, but never received a pay rise for taking on a senior role. Small tokens to attempt to glaze over ongoing issues.

Getting bigger but still feels like a family. Very inclusive and everyone lives by values. I feel looked after and I like the flexibility of being able to work in the office and at home. 
Manager is very understanding and challenges me to develop continuously. 
We work hard but can see the rewards. I also like how we treat our customers, open, transparent and above all caring.
