The people are lovely and no one hesitates to offer help. However, the organisation of the company is abysmal which leads to a lot of unneeded stress on the entire team. Training is basically nonexistent. Systems are put in place that only half work and are changed constantly. Meetings put fixes in place that then revert back to normal a few days to weeks later. A lot of communication issues lead to things being rushed or delayed last minute causing constant frustration. A demotivating place to work only saved by everyone trying to help each other out.

The management don't listen to the staff

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Disorganisation on every level to much work not enough staff and money,hence the saying overworked under paid 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful going home with a headache

Not a very nice place to work! The upper management haven't the skills so they love playing the "blame game" most of the Technicians are overworked and very underpaid considering the skill set they possess and the unrealistic job lead times.
I would go as far as saying it is a very unsafe place to work as machines are constantly running and there is rubbish lying all over the place "because it will come in handy".

Bad management leads to a bad working environment which is a shame as some really nice people work there and deserve better. No thanks for the work you do just get piled with more work. Always an excuse as to why no pay rises but have brand new company cars. Not one person from higher management could even come see me on the last day of my employment. 

No loyalty to staff who have been there over 10+ years, no pay rise, no thanks nothing 
Management are absolutely shocking, there moto is the caring company.. very far from it! 
Team leaders only get to be team leaders if they tongue the managements A hole, team leaders take credit for your work then stab you in back . They have managers in charge who don’t even know what they are doing the accountant is running the place. 

I enjoyed my time here as I learned new skills and made new friends.

I was given the opportunity to visit doctors clinics and liaise with customers over the telepone.

It became obvious that there was no way of improving my wage, and a company merger meant that as I hadn't been there long, I was made redundant when they fouind themselves overstaffed.

An absolutely shocking place to work. You work as hard as you can and get absolutely no thanks at all. Management are a joke and spend more money on themselves than they have coming in. To get anywhere you have to be an a**e licker.  They will lie and stab you in the back. A very dirty and unsafe environment. Not the 'caring' company at all!

Really like my job at Peacocks and have been Employee here for over 3 years. Great people and open to ideas.
Very approachable management team who you can have a laugh with. Work is challenging and demanding but there are lots of opportunities to make a difference if you have the right mind set and your ideas are listened to. Lots of change in past 3 years for the better.
Pay and conditions very fair.  

Avoid at all costs,  the management are on another level of toxic. It's all about the profit margins, quantity over quality every time. They couldn't care less about the patients or the staff! If you have any kind of disability the bullying from staff and management is abhorrent. 
If you enjoy abusing organic solvents and being treat like a second class citizen this is the place for you. 


The reviews on indeed do not do justice to this company a few disgruntled employees.
I find the company very accommodating and helpful. compassionate and try to work with the staff as best possible.
A friendly , fun fast paced work environment. it either suits you or it doesn't!  Lots of staff have been here 30+ years which speaks for itself.
