Hybrid working after intense training program. You are supported to reach targets but this not negative it’s about being the best you can to provide good customer care. You are encouraged to speed calls up which can be challenging especially if you enjoy talking, have a caller with multiple family members or patient who has not spoken to anyone in weeks, but when you have anxious patients waiting in a queue there needs to a cut off point. 
I have felt encouraged, supported and listened to. We are not scripted and I feel my character is definitely not squashed. 
I have watched my confidence grow and am never afraid to speak my mind and feel listened to.
The well-being focus is fantastic from free coffee, fruit, a tuck shop, forgotten/short food staff box and even care boxes in the ladies. 
The team on the floor have been nothing but helpful and I truly have some giggles. 
It’s fast paced, it can be heartbreaking listening to very unwell patients and so rewarding knowing you are providing a service to some of the most vulnerable patients. 
They have had a recruitment drive (I am part of it) I would definitely say I’m happy working here and continue to develop every day. I would recommend to anyone willing to learn and work hard in a CCA department.

Interview was easy and they offered me the position only half an hour after I left the interview which should of been a red flag but nonetheless, I accepted the job. 
Training was fine, could be more in depth, they took too long going over the ‘fluffy’ stuff which is just common sense and not enough time on actually how to do the job, no live call listening on the call floor which would of been beneficial. 
You’re very much put in the deep end, they only have about 30 customer service advisors for nearly half a million customers!!! So the phone line queue is normally at 100+ customers all day, everyday, waiting to speak to an advisor. They always close the phone lines because we’re too busy so no more customers can join the queue to be able to speak to an advisor. It’s very stressful and pressured because of this, they’re also really strict about the targets, how quickly you take calls, how long you take in after call work etc, you’re constantly getting feedback about things you’ve done ‘wrong’ so it’s a very negative environment, they should just be grateful for the staff that they have rather than picking on the staff for every single, little thing and making you work like robots, call after call after call. 
They will force you to do overtime as well. 

This role was centered around consistent, detail-oriented work that played a critical part in the overall workflow of the team. Each day involved following a structured routine, handling repetitive tasks that required accuracy, organization, and a strong sense of responsibility. Whether it was managing data, processing documents, coordinating schedules, or keeping systems updated, the work contributed meaningfully to the team’s efficiency — even if it wasn’t particularly exciting.

The environment was quiet, with minimal interruptions, which allowed me to focus and complete tasks reliably. While the role didn’t offer much variety or creative challenge, it provided a stable rhythm and clear expectations, which made it easier to set and meet goals consistently. Over time, I developed sharper time management skills, improved my ability to work independently, and became even more detail-focused. It wasn’t the most thrilling position, but it was honest work, and I always left each day knowing I’d gotten things done.

It's a call centre, which they don't tell you to begin with. Training was terrible and rushed. We were constantly being told how important it is not to make mistakes on calls, that it could mean life or death, but within a few days we were on calls dealing with people's prescription orders. 
The trainer said if we encountered any problem she would be there to help, but she was one person for a group of 12 new starters on calls. Some of us had elderly people on hold for over 20 minutes while one trainer was rushing around the group trying to solve problems.
They care more about the speed of the call and moving onto the next one for their stats than actually being caring and compassionate to the person on the other end of the call.

I do not recommend Pharmacy2u whatsoever.

12 hours a day, with no spare staff… do you can’t take days off. And if you do, obviously you won’t be paid. And always felt you were never added to the rota the following week. Job security? None. The general public know more than the staff, through one reason or another. The have been problems from day one that haven’t been fixed. Yet… as soon as it loses the company money, it will be fixed within hours or days. 

Staff fix toilet lights, and bring their own cleaning detergent for the mopping of the floors.  Management is non existent. And I truly believe that. 
I have genuinely had a nice experience here because of the staff. The people who work tirelessly and give their entire to the job. But whoever is above… does. not. care. 

Like most jobs they bosses don’t care… but they at least do the bare minimum. Here, nothing. 

I have worked for the company for a year and a half. 
Your typical day would consist of a lot of pressure to meet targets, supervisors not caring for anyone but themselves. 
This place has a lot of people going.. but not coming.
And the most importantly - Ridiculous ROTA and no overtime pay meaning that every day you come in and you don't know when you gonna go home. 
The team on its own was alright, but constant fights from team leaders turned two shifts against each other. 
Management lost the track of care for patients (and employees) and now only focuses on numbers - probably thats why there is more complaints than positive reviews.
Probably the good thing was that they paid for training that later demanded a full refund even for courses that you been only promised but never received. 
AND they never got your payslips correct and it took 4months to get it sorted out.

I have had extensive pharmacy work experience in an office environment. Giving me varied skills, a wide knowledge base and the ability to work with many different types of people.
My job involves helping customers over the phone. I also answer varied and numerous email enquiries and work with doctors surgeries and 3rd party prescribers.

My day to day tasks are the sale of over-the-counter medicines and the provision of information to customers on symptoms and products.
I process paper and electronic prescriptions dealing with payment and exemption details. I add repeat lists to customers’ accounts and input private prescription data.

The hardest part of the job is handling the volume of incoming calls

Pharmacy2U is, frankly, a masterclass in how not to run a workplace. The operatives are the only people keeping the place afloat—genuinely hardworking, trying to hold everything together while dealing with chaos that management seems blissfully unaware of.
Management, on the other hand, feels completely disconnected, wrapped up in their own self-importance while showing zero interest in what staff actually need to do their jobs. “Support” is basically nonexistent. Upper management takes this to another level—cold, indifferent, and giving off the constant vibe that they couldn’t care less about the people who keep the company running.
The whole environment feels like a mix of neglect, ego, and apathy. If Pharmacy2U wants to improve, they can start by stepping out of the office bubble and actually treating their staff like human beings instead of an afterthought

I worked for this company for 10 months vaccinating at various sites. Initially was told that Health Hubs would be opening post vaccinating but this did not happen.
The company decided to make redundancies and you had to 'prove your worth' by email, not even face to face. I was one of the first HCP'S to work for them and felt that I was a very good worker but to my shock, I was made redundant. 
In hindsight,  this company does not like anyone that has an opinion and I was not happy to extend my daily commute to more than 4 hrs on top of a 12hr shift, as requested by them. Those staff that said nothing were kept on, there was no compromise.
It's a shame as I enjoyed the role even though the pay was not great. They tend to look after the Pharmacists but we're not very good at supporting their HCP'S. No managerial support.
