Bath ASU is both good and occasionally tedious. I progressed through to manufacturing from the start but had to leave due to disagreements on time scale (Do it properly, but hurry up, but don't rush it, but come on already etc). Then became a supervisor for a while but was constantly met with frustration regarding higher ups trying to implement things that don't make sense with the work I have been set. After explaining the frustrations, I was told that I was the problem and to let them get on with it. So the higher ups implement their systems anyway and...surprise, it doesn't work because they didn't listen to the people it would affect. This was a regular weekly occurance and after a while I stopped caring. Even got to a point I had to do a managers job for them because they were messing around and was screamed at in front of my team for "making them look bad" by doing their job for them. That made me hand my notice in.

Don't get me wrong, the actual people you work with are lovely and are the best part about the job. The hours aren't too bad and for what the pay is, they did keep working through covid so job security is assured. You will also be nudged into other departments as a form of progression which honestly is alright.

Overall, I have had good and bad experiences with the company and it would be unfair to say its awful. Its good and yet can be annoying. It's the best of worlds.



Positives: One of the standout aspects of this role is the supportive environment fostered by my manager. From day one, I felt welcomed and encouraged to contribute my ideas. The workload is varied, which keeps things interesting and allows for continuous learning and growth. Knowing that my efforts contribute to the critical cause of treating patients adds a sense of fulfillment to my work, making it much more than just a job.

The company also offers flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home, which has been invaluable in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Whenever I've needed support, whether in terms of resources or guidance, it's been readily available. Additionally, there are ample opportunities for professional development.

Cons: Like any growing company, there have been a few changes within the organisation that have occasionally shifted the direction of our efforts. While this can be a bit challenging at times, it's also understandable given the dynamic nature of a company in growth mode.

Overall, this role offers a supportive and flexible environment with meaningful work and opportunities for growth, making it a fulfilling place to build a career.

Before joining Pharmaxo Healthcare, I had seen some mixed reviews online. But from my own experience as a new starter, it’s clear that a lot of positive change has been made over the last year – and it’s had a massive impact on both the culture and the working environment.

Great place to work. If you are a hard worker and you love to be occupied with something to do then you will be fine. Staff are friendly but as long as you mind your own business and don’t allow negativity to consume you then you will love it at BathASU. 
Try your best to accomplish the task and set a standard for yourself to archive and have an open mind about work. Follow procedures and focus on the fact that your are employed to work. It’s that simple. They will train you but you are not taught Everything while training so don’t be hesitant to ask for help when you are actually doing the work.  At times it can be stressful only if you allow yourself to worry about something that you cannot control,  When the pressure is on, don’t worry just try your BEST and be the best you can be. If you can’t change the facts then worrying about it or stressed about it will not change it either. Overall I enjoyed my time at BathASU like I said how you see things Matters.

Our mantra is "Where patients come first" and in my year here it's so powerful to see every member of staff truly believe in this. The company has seen explosive growth in the last few years and is rapidly expanding. There are some small teething problems associated with this growth but the company is well prepared and dealing with it well. Alongside this growth, every member of staff receives a quarterly bonus, something I have never seen elsewhere. The CEO and directors are passionate and have a strong vision for the future of the company and create a great learning environment for those that are career driven. The people that work here are friendly and welcoming, maintaining a family business feel which makes coming into the office a joy.

This company has all the money and great possibilities but has not a clue how to use them to become successful. The idea of it is what makes you apply for the job, but once you get there as production operator, QA or QC, you realise that it's just another factory/warehouse job full of immature gossiping people not following procedures. 
Furthermore, company just keeps on employing 'expert managers and supervisors' who tell you what to do instead of listening to actual workers who tell them what the problem is.
Management is taken from primary school, literally non existent and only reacting when the problem accelerates  (so imagine!).  You attend the meetings that don't bring any solutions and are a waste of everybody's time, managers have meetings discussing people off sick instead of actually resolving company's issues. Half of the people, who start here, are gone by the end of the year with a bitter taste in their mouth.

Most toxic place I have ever worked. Patients do not come first, staff are expected to lie to patients when medication has not been ordered ,no calls made to arrange deliveries of vital medications, staff overwhelmed with work and unacheivable call times(3 mins to call, make notes, sort out issues and print orders). Now it is a call centre with additional tasks added on - minimum of 12 calls per hour. Staff are stressed and not supported by middle or upper management. Bonus scheme is a farce and the company has a favouritism mentality. You are expected to stay after shift for no extra pay if all tasks not completed by team. There excuse, you make coffee and use the toilet during shift so that covers any extra time needed to work. 

The company were happy to let me work long hours with over 160miles travel each day. There were always issues with medication delivery making it a long day as it always messed up the timings of visits. Because I was so busy during the week I had to plan visits either late in the evening or on a weekend which I was never paid for. Some nurses only had to see a couple of patients a day in their local area but they were struggling to employ and keep nurses around me so I could end up with 4-6 patients a day and travel for 4+ hours as well. They didn’t seem to care about my safety with long hours travelling and I had to beg them for time off to see the dentist and ended up seeing patients after a dental extraction with a numb mouth!
