Plan-it isn't a bad practice to spend a couple of years learning and honing your skills. The people across the studios are not too egotistical or competitive and on the whole a friendly well meaning atmosphere and at times fun. Their design work is just above average but not excellent, and if your aspirations are similar then it's a good option. Annual pay rises (not every year though) are on the low side and promotion prospects are slim. So best to negotiate a good salary to begin with if you intend to work there. The London office suffers from quite a high staff turnover but the Altrincham studio is a bit more settled and has a different working culture.

I've worked in London's Studio with a good "fresh&young" team which it has the right balance. 
The best thing I appreciated was how there's the possibility to work right from a starting level in a practice which offers the chance to get the right responsibilities for bringing forward big projects.

Planit overall was a great company to work for, the people in the office were all creative and fun people to work with and the office itself was a very nice environment to work in. On the down side sometimes the working hours could be extremely long and although I am aware recognition isn't something that should be seeked it seemed to be non existent for the most part.

Their HR department was poor and the Senior team handled a genuine short-term staff illness extremely unprofessionally. 

Furthermore they don’t offer hybrid/flexible working to junior staff members despite claiming to in the job adverts, while all other rival firms seem to offer some form of flexible working. 

Good company for graduates with interesting projects. Lacks organisation and processes in daily working. IT support is non existent. Management provide no recognition for hard work and dedication from staff.  Low salaries. No training provided to support career development 

Great to work for a forward thinking company that really wants to be a better business as demonstrated by its B Corp commitment to people, planet and profit. We are also looking to become an Employee-Owned Trust this year.

Planit is a great company to work for - full of friendly faces, who are all dedicated to the work they do, which makes it a great environment to work.
