Whilst my team were hard working and very helpful, management and HR put obstacles in the way. Have had a big push on mental health awareness but when I had serious family issues was told take as long as you need, unpaid obviously, then was dismissed on my return after being told my job was safe.
The company has a bad reputation in the area and struggle to get people in, on my last week I caught covid the from production workers as there so scared to take a day off sick as they will be got rid of.
Avoid at all costs. Won’t be long before it closes as it’s running at a third of normal production, and various companies and agencies I’ve spoken to had said it’s only a matter of time before it closes.the engineers are brilliant, and I would happily approach them to work for me again

What is the best part of working at the company?
Excellent place to work. People are friendly, high safety standards, supervision is perfect and all is well organized.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The travel time from my house to Malton.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Lovely professionals with excellent knowledge and know how in their roles. Safety culture is top notch with frequent reminders, inductions and notifications.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start shift on time. Complete PPEs and hygiene checks. Get to know your roles and responsibilities and  in some cases which department you will be working for that shift. Go for break at the canteen. Resume work after break. Clean up after shifts work.

its so far away but need more hours on site and more pay and more experience of the workplace. ask member, of HR to get in touch. do they have a bus pick up service from York station. nervous a bit yesterday

nervous in doing the journey alone, wanted to show my english functional skills certificate dated 17 May 2025 certificate student number of english functional skills is TH38917. need a paid job.

packing and moving goods. how do i and when do i plan another visit

This place has always been horrendous in most areas, but recently it's really gone down hill. They're pushing everyone out to bring new managers so they have no need for people who have worked there and been a loyal hardworking knowledgeable member of staff for years. The last few weeks I've seen 4 supervisors been either pushed out of their job to take a lower paid position or had excuses pushed on them to sack them with no notice. This place is a disaster and will only get worse. Do not recommend to anyone!

Easy work, some really good people.

No communication with foreign nationals.
People not caring about doing a good.

Too many take the easy option,  without considering the consequences. 
Many don't take responsibility for their own actions.

For me it's fine. My job is not on a line.

Being made to do the same thing in a stress position for up to 5 hours non stop

Unhealthy. Favouritism prevails over ability.

Clock watching waiting for home time. It’s just not pleasant there

When I first started I was comfortable but then next day I got moved somewhere else I felt more comfortable doing the job I was doing they tried moving me somewhere else. When you speak to the supervisor they don’t care I then got sacked but worked next day but then got put on the bins got told I was able to go back next day and about 2 hours after getting home I got the sack .... all because I wanted to work in an environment I felt comfortable in

Work 4 hours then go for you 1 and only break after 18:00 when on 2-10 shift been type 1 diabetic was going to long without food my sugars were crashing and after my 4th low blood sugar in 4 days I'd had enough and left even was having a coffee with extra sugar before I started still crashed . The staff who spoke English were sound but your not guaranteed to be working with them all the time

Being treated worse than vermin.

Nobody gives one.
Work, eat, sleep repeat.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Physically tough.
Brain pickled with boredom.
Working with clueless clowns.

HR care only about how little they can grt away with paying their staff. Firm care nothing for their staff. Bad higher management, though supervisors and team leaders are ok and put on like rest of staff. Car park area is full of pot holes. No paid breaks and perks are only given when they want something
