I work remotely, as do a lot of colleagues, and the company allows hybrid and WFH for applicable posts. This remains allowed as long as it is appropriate and productive, but communication with colleagues is encouraged.

I have become a more rounded professional in my time here, and have had a career path that is aligned with what was determined at the start of my time here. I have progressed through position, responsibility and the salary has always fairly reflected my performance and responsibilities.

Management is supportive and encourages growth and learning, and I have been provided with appropriate access to learning and development achieving, to date, 6 professional qualifications. Interaction with the Board and Senior Management is a key part of my role, and from my personal experience with them, and the experience of my colleagues, I know the Board respects and values every member of staff and their value to the business.

The culture across the group is supportive and nurturing, with colleagues able to contribute to improvements in daily working life, career paths and business development.

I enjoy every aspect of my role, and thoroughly enjoy interacting with colleagues and management alike. 

I have been here just under 8 years, and sincerely hope this is my last job, up until I retire.

Working here has been an exceptional experience. The only reason salary got 3 stars, is because you are paid hourly, and the amount of hours you work (which is obscene) makes a half decent wage. They will lay it on thick with you at the start ‘it’s a 4 day working week’, but what they don’t tell you, is that you will being doing 16 hours a day!! Management do NOT care about your well being, they only care about the drops being done. The vans are not roadworthy, they all have major issues, VOSA would have a field day, health and safety…… there is none. This job almost split me and my partner because of the stress and I was never at home because of the amount of hours, and when I was at home, I was asleep recovering. DO NOT WORK HERE

When the day is over, awful management and jobsworths in the office

The morning routine is tiresome, awful vans and even worse management

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic , the workhorses of the company (van drivers) are treated like they don’t matter

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awful and poorly planned, scant regard for the driver force

A great place to work (if you don't value your hgv licence).
Unfortunately they think that because there's 2 drivers in the cab you don't need to stop for breaks. Not many lads would sit in the cab on break whilst their workmates manoeuvres a washing machine on his own.


You can make good money here, by working 13 hour days.
It ok as a stop gap, pays the bills. But don't let them persuade you to break the rules. It's your licence after all.

Honestly a very good company to work for. Management is fair, people are normal and respectful, and you’re treated like a human being, not a number. Work is organised, expectations are clear and if you do your job properly, there’s no unnecessary pressure. Good atmosphere, solid team and decent standards overall. I’m happy to work here and would recommend it without hesitation.

Lads are great to get on with 
Early starts with 11 h routing
Could be carrying up to 129 kilo with 2 men
And if on own it could be up to 70 kg with a trolly but sometimes not great 


Great place to work. 

Company organises social events twice a year, plus regular lunches to celebrate  other events.
