I would honestly advise anyone thinking of applying to not do so. they claim to be a people first company and preach it every step of the way but they don't care its all about the 'brand' unless you work at head office for 8 hours a day they don't care about you at all. they will lie and give you false promises to try and delay the inevitable but sooner or later everybody leaves. there is a large staff turnover for certain roles, but head office staff receive all sorts of benefits and it makes a mockery of the guys at the bottom who put in the work. constantly want overtime but pay you at the standard rate so there's no justification for you doing it. 

Working as the Mobile Response Officer (MRO) you will be in a key pivotal position within the company (IF YOU CALL BEING TREATED LIKE DOG POO a key pivotal position) this company will ask the world of you but pull you in with the view to firing you for anything that suites them at the time. you will be expected to stay on sites for over 15 hours why engineers turn up you will then still be expected to complete your next 12+ hr shift even if you have only been out of work for 6-7hrs since your last shift you will be expected to give up your days off to cover the lazy none workers who get away with everything they have been losing staff and contracts like a bucket with a hole in there will be no job security with this firm BE WARNED A VERY POOR EMPLOYER

I started working for Churchill first in London but now in Manchester as an officer, my first site in london was a great site to work on the guys I worked with were all expericenced and the clients staff were nice too. My manager would pop in a couple times a month to catch up and unlike other managers ive worked for he picked up his phone when i called him the area supervisor also used to visit me when I was on a night shift. I was lucky because i had a regular site and was permantly based there. I moved to Manachester and i was lucky to get a transfer. Like any firm if you get a good manager and a regular site it makes working as an officer easier      

No support! Full of lies! Re writes history! Your just a number! No respect or loyalty. No understanding, no care or support! Wages are wrong! There’s no such thing as a work life balance. Always contacting you needing your help, if you need help/understand you don’t get it. If you get ignored ,but it’s all your fault! The same old story you do everything by the book you get nothing but you do wrong you get everything! Please don’t make the same mistake as I did! Don’t have any personal problems that are very deep/upsetting because you get no time or understanding. Remember you work to live not live to work like they think. If letters don’t arrive at the office your a lie as the post never gets lost 

Working with collegues not too bad however some can get golden treatment from the start and make your life a misery and are allowed to get away with it due to lies and extremely poor management. Make people managers after working for the company for 5 mins who are seriously ill equipped to do the job. Could not manage themselves nevermind a workforce. When grievences are made due to mental health being affected you are made out to be the bad one and all the grievences are made up according to them. Do not apply if you value your mental wellbeing. You will be accused of allsorts and then it will be your fault. Narcissistic company from top to bottom.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They’ll support you within reason esp if you have travel, personal or work related problems. Excellent communication. Good rate of pay.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing. Punctuality is most important 
Health and safety is assured 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good.   Area manager always available to support. Equipmeny PPE and training of a high standard.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You will most of the time work alone and some sites have their own staff who  you’ll work along side or around.

I worked at Vanguard Medical Cleaning in Telford for 5 years and 7 months. Unfortunately, my experience significantly deteriorated with the arrival of a new manager in Telford area.  I found that employee well-being was not a priority, and the reality of the job differed greatly from what was initially described. This, coupled with a general lack of company care, led to a high turnover rate among colleagues. I ultimately decided to leave due to these concerns. You can think a bit before you apply for cleaning job at Vanguard Medical  Cleaning in Telford. 


I worked on a site in leicester and loved the job to start with, then shifts were changed with no warning. Certain favourites with the supervisor and management got the shifts they wanted while others were pushed onto the late shift. You couldn't raise concerns with the supervisor because nothing was confidential and the favourites would then cause arguments. It was stressful going to work each day for that reason.  If your pay is wrong it takes ages to get sorted out. So glad to be out of that job now. Would not recommend this company at all. 

Working at churchill security is such a pleasure, as everyone is very professional and friendly.
Being a great place to work is the difference between being a good company and great company .

They lost the site contract which was a shame, never had a problem with them. Always kind, very helpful, and understanding in times of welfare issue.
Never had a problem with pay.
Office staff friendly and helpful, always received a speedy response via email.
Regional manager and supervisor were great, honestly could fault this company.
Was a shame to end up having to be TUPED over to a new company as the client wasn’t happy with Churchill. Would works for them again if they had more contracts down my way.
