What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Days are typically full, but never the same day twice! Always an opportunity to invest in your own knowledge and learn what other individuals and teams contribute in your own personal and team objectives

The job in of itself is fine the lifters are relatively basic mechanically to maintain just sometimes need excessive persuasion and installation of new lifts is easy once you get to grip with the basics added extras bring their own challenges and a good computer skills are heavily desired but there is a worrying lacking of training for new staff. Basic management skills of the higher ups in workshop and stores departments are abismal. It often feels situations for the workshop engineers are an uphill battle against management and the over arching structure of the business

I love working at Terberg, my colleagues are fantastic support, friendly and hardworking. I enjoy the range of vehicles I get to work on, old and new.
Typically I work from inspections sheets, do PDIs, complete customer modifications, help to fulfill customer contracts etc.
The most challenging part of the job is taking a really old and tired truck, stripping it back to bare chassis and making it like new again. This is also one of the most rewarding parts of the job. It's exciting working on brand new vehicles, adding whatever the customer requires fitting on their fleet, and delivering high quality vehicles.

start 6.30am with coffee and meet with workshop manager
Financial work until 5.00pm including stock management accounts WIP.
Learned a lot as business increased from £7million to £57 million in 14 years.
My department was low key with each individual looking after their respective area within the finance department.
Hardest part was year end with accounts complete in 4weeks including full WIP valuation and provisions for maintenance and hire contracts in place with full back up files.
Most enjoyable part of the job was the turnaround from a loss making business to a hugely profitable organisation with a strong balance sheet.

The pay is probably the only good thing about working here at the moment but you have to put in the hours. The management in Warrington is an absolute disaster.. there’s no organization, no communication, and no accountability. It feels like the engineers are constantly cleaning up the mess created by people who have no idea how the workshop actually operates.

New starters are thrown in the deep end with little to no training, and then management wonders why things take longer than they should. It’s frustrating to watch such poor leadership ruin what could otherwise be a good job.

Oppressive, horrible environment, people who have been there for a long time are either friends or family of the main management or team leaders and do everything they can to ostracize new people and be as unhelpful as possible. Most uncomfortable place I've had the displeasure of working. Will force you to do "mandatory overtime" on your non contracted working days when it suits them.

Definitely the support, mentally, physically and technically.

I must say the weather as this plays a big role

Rewarding not only do you get self satisfaction from fixing the product you also get satisfaction from building up customer relations and helping others needs.

Great place to work, 4 day weeks were fantastic. In my opinion, pay was sufficient and overtime was available pretty much every week.
Health and safety is abit much  but the company is just covering their backs.
I enjoyed my time at the company and would still be there if it wasnt half hour drive away from me.

One strike and you are out. The training is none existent and then you are left to it. There is very much a feeling that no matter how hard you try it will not be good enough and they seem to wait for you to make a mistake rather than help to prevent it happening.
