What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff, friendly staff in the yard & most offices 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Cameras everywhere watching staff working , over desks. 
Mis trusting management . Favourite long term staff pick their own hours & treated differently . Yard staff not treated very well. All sorts of no good people hanging round outside near your cars. Needles left in streets & generally unsafe, 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor work environment.  Old equipment. Old fashioned . Poor culture, high staff turnover . Staff not valued or trusted

Generally a low-morale office with a negative vibe due to office conversation and general individuality being discouraged as you are too busy being overworked due to understaffing which results in Non-stop phone calls all day from various dealerships requesting order numbers to carry out works however there was no time to wrap up previous calls, this combined with general dis-interest from management meant for a negative working environment with no progression opportunities, as one manager quite blunty put it when the question was asked, I would recommend seeking opportunities elsewhere if your looking to progress yourself within a company.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Excellent place to work. The Bacci family are fantastic people and an absolute pleasure to have worked for them.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Long hours but you are rewarded for them. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent. If you have the right attitude and desire it is fantastic.

Extremely tiring job.
Ten hours a day, six days a week.
The day starts at 7.30am and finishes at 6.30pm with one hour break for lunch. Most co-workers are really easygoing and make the day run smoother and the management is not very present unless to obtain results.

Good company to work weather your a new driver or and experienced driver, give you so much experience on different rigid trucks, different units, box trailers, fridge trailers and curtain trailers also train you up on low loader, which prepares you for any other job out there.

I have had a good experience working at Salford Van Hire. The shifts were very long with long periods of standing and only 1 hr break it was great meeting people every day.

Never felt anything else other than worthless working here!  Management were patronising and rude. 
They could all do with a course in learning how to manage and management skills. 


company no pay any work insurance, if you have any accident at work-company pay nothing,  typical is 70 hours and more /week, very bad salary, employee is only number !!!!

management were unapproachable

Plenty of hours and overtime available (unfortunately only at the standard rate) 

Weekend work required every other week (days alternating).

Wouldn't have left if the rate or overtime was better.
