Very poor direction and mentoring with moving goal posts which meant nothing was good enough unless you were part of the friend group. My work day consisted of constantly guessing where this mood would shift and resulted in a lot of schools missing out due to many errors and lack of effort in the face on the consistent errors. 
As I left there was serious allegations of money laundering to the director which meant the new director had to step up who is currently leading now, but this was not the first case. To note: a lot of couples have made this there place of work which definitely alludes to a lot of inside hiring manipulation. 

No chance of career progression, management is very unsupportive, day to day work so always the same, just a constant stream of students asking for new passwords and teachers being incompetent with the simplest of thing (I.e turning on projector), other staff are friendly and will help out as much as they can without getting in trouble with management but overall the whole company needs to take a look at itself and realise it owns awful schools and should rehire all of management as they’re all useless and incompetent at their jobs

Used to love my job, but then Shaw Education Trust took over and it is now a bleak place to work. The school is top heavy with Senior Leadership, getting rid of staff in vital roles to fund this. Support staff are not appreciated , teaching staff are under appreciated. All this company cares about is running the school like a business and making money. 

Management at the Coppice are awful. Bullies. Nothing is done about the poor leadership despite the high turnover of staff. I’m very disappointed that what was once an amazing place to work with special needs at its heart had turned into such an horrific place to work.

The trust encourages a supportive and collaborative way of working always with integrity and focussed on pupils reaching their full potential.
It’s really rewarding to be part of such a great Trust ! 

Love my job and the rewards are amazing. Children are also amazing too. Never felt like i was going to work as I am eager to go.We have an aming team and all work well together.

No issues of employment, SET didnt follow through with initial promises to the school but was expected. Has children at the heart of what they do. Some issues but same as any place

As an employer Shaw Education Trust let me down with my mental health, organisation in head office is nothing. Schools, support staff get forgotten about. A toxic culture with no care. 

This firm is on a pay cut exercise at present and picking on teaching assistants at present but no doubt it will continue with meal workers and teachers as long as the CEO is ok
