My job was very repetitive but easy enough. Day in, day out the exact same job. It was really rough when I started as I didn’t have a manager and everything was a mess but once sorted  it was smooth sailing. Learnt a lot through my time here and was able to turn my job into my own responsibility and helped contribute some good changes. Overall staff outside of finance were good, made some really good relationships with people there, but there were some proper rude and obnoxious people in the finance department which  completely ruined my mental health. The accountants were unnecessarily rude and never appreciated anything. I interacted with them quite a lot and they made my whole team miserable to the point we were scared to even talk near them. The atmosphere became very stifled and toxic in the finance department and everyone was just two faced. There was a lot of stress as well as I wasn’t always able to do my job due to lack of transparency from the head of finance. There were also some redundancies in finance during my time there which further lowered morale. overall from 08/25 until I left in 02/26 everything because miserable and no matter how many times we complained nothing changed and everyone just became depressed!! Full of empty promises and words. A lot of double standards in this role.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great friendly team. Meeting and greeting of customers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When the payment machine breaks down.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fantastic atmosphere and great enviroment

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I only worked on football match days

I would arrive and be greeted by a positive group of people and we would joke around until it was time to open. Things would then be very organised but still a friendly atmosphere. I learned multiple things about match reporting and hospitality. The best thing about the job was the people.

Arrived for the match set up have a briefing ensure all systems are set and ready to go.
Workplace and management are good easy to to talk to if any issues , the staff culture is like most places there's always good banter between staff but professionalism when working as a team once the match is running.

Ensuring the fans are directed into the correct areas of the stand
Dealing with a wide range of different people
Taking responsibility for assisting supporters with disabilities
Checking tickets where required. Reporting any problems to the supervisor. Ensuring health and safety are maintained

Each day is never the same working for the National Citizens Service. You are mainly outdoors doing activities and have the opportunity to join in with the participants.

Recommend to students.

I would come to work and meet the rest of my colleagues, we would joke and chat whilst organising the stock overall fun job for my first job would recommend

i enjoyed this job as it got me back into the habit of working and getting up in the daytime. I sadly had to leave due to moving back to Nottingham. It was worth while though

Good work life balance, good management who are accommodating to personal situations.  I enjoy the job and who i work with. A typical day is having a morning meeting and dividing up the stadium into sections for us each to work.
