Lots of travelling, more time spent in hotels away from home than I was lead to believe during my interview stages - not all of which was essential in my opinion.
Management lacked the ability to provide direction and guidance even when asked for specific information and an actual job description with defined objectives- requested this information 6+ times over a 3 month period; never received. 


What is the best part of working at the company?
The office I was in was a close nit group of engineers who helped each other and got the job done.

Sometimes due to operational restraints and batch requirements it was difficult to organise off-site labour to carry out some work required.

Very friendly and helpful workforce and management

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mostly organised and professional.

Terrible place to work management are absolutely clueless and only care about there bonus, Union on sight also rubbish just stick by the managers the site is falling to bits and so much backstabbing it’s unbelievable it’s such a toxic environment and I would recommend at all costs to avoid. This place will be lucky if still manufacturing in 5 years the place is a shambles and the management are slowly running it into the ground 

I totally enjoyed my time working at BASF/solenis did 2 years and 6 months through agency, made some good friends working there was a sad day when I was given 2 weeks notice in July 2020 due to Covid-19 as work was quiet but everyone said the main warehouse manager was wrong to lay me off but I was ok with the decision, if had chance to go back I definitely do in a heartbeat as I loved the banter we all had in warehouse.

The managers are entrenched and don't listen or care

Awful culture and they don't want to change

12 hours of avoiding the management

Get left out as new starter, wasn't welcome to team. Rubbish training, very clicky. Lead Operator useless, Union Useless. I was glad to get out of there, everyone bullies. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Dont work in the warehouse thay dont follow safety thay allways rushing about accident waiting to happen vna trucks allways braking down management dont care

Great people. Great Company. Very Friendly. Good salaries and great management. Opportunities to progress. Very good canteen on site. Excellent equipment and offices. Flexible hours available.

Relaxed, independent work environment. Good people in the field. Strong emphasis on getting their people in the field trained up. Obvious they are investing a lot of money in the younger folks

Its a fine company to work for, management should care more for their employees rather than care for their bonuses. Some really nice people working here and made some good friends here. Steady job with quite good pay.
