SThree is great company to work for. They are a global wide, successful company and you really feel part of that success and like you can make a difference and contribute.

The management team are supportive and friendly, there's no micromanagement and everybody wants to help you achieve your goals. There's a real collaborative spirit and everybody celebrates each other's success and shares best practice. 

The office in Bristol is really relaxed and friendly, on my first day everybody introduced themselves and made me feel welcome. Everybody is up for socialising after work over the pool table or a few beers.

The training program Elements really helps you hone your skills and set realistic goals that you can achieve.



You'll have mentorship from your manager and cross-team with regular training and socials.
The culture in the Bristol office is great, a great mixture of hard work, social and work-life balance.
You'll have autonomy in your role and a great support network to ask for advice and help. Everyone is willing to help here, and even when they're super busy, they will take time out of their day to help you.
The management are approachable and supportive and I feel the company value your opinions.
I've learnt so much since I started working here, with regards to my market, how recruitment works, what needs to be done to be successful. To start it can be a challenge to understand how systems work etc but once you get settled in, it becomes second nature.

SThree is a great place to work. The culture in the business, especially here in Bristol is second to none. 

Management in SThree is understanding and keen to push you to be the best you can be with targets that stretch you.

SThree does recruitment different to other recruitment businesses, a much stronger focus is put on spending time developing warm calls.

The social side in Bristol and throughout the business is impeccable, it's easy to show up and instantly start to feel like you fit in. 

I personally appreciate that at no point are you compared to others, and management actively discourage it, ethising everyone is running their own race.

A good fun office which looks to involve everyone in team bonding activities. The organisation is ever changing but i beleive lacks flexibility in some areas as the company is well known to be very expensive and therefore lacking flexibility means can't cope with competition in certain areas. Some managers are outdated with modern ways to recruit due to not billing for a number of years. Needs to be more research into certain markets before bringing consultants on. Dedication to customer service is high and looks to provide best service for customer and candidates.

SThree has some well-documented cultural issues. The company has made efforts to become more modern but is dominated by old-school managers who treat employees and customers with a high degree of transactional cynicism.

The heavy emphasis on commission-based sales over long-term relationships can lead to poor behaviour. The organisation has struggled to understand how or why to invest in newer systems.

In recent years the company has made some efforts to address these aspects but without changing long-term leaders they have not been able to adopt the right leadership behaviours.

There is nothing fantastic about this company.. I needed a job in Glasgow and this was the only opportunity available to me at the time.. I was offered the job immediately after the interview by the agent.. I worked with a fantastic team and we were all made redundant when a new CEO was hired and created a new position for the Chief Digital Strategic Officer who had her own plans.. The way HR handled the redundancy was despicable.. Turns out the redundancy was the best thing that happened to me as I got an amazing job two months after..

Upon arrival I was told my login could take 3-4 weeks. Then I was given to a member of the team to shadow. Whilst shadowing does help I did stress I learned from experience so I wanted to sit and look at the system. This was ignored. 2 weeks later I was given time sheets to do for 8 hours every day. Once I was given SAP access my manager was not very polite about what I was doing despite the fact I was not given an idea of every task I had to complete once I was given access to SAP. Was very unimpressed with the workplace and the team I was in

Sthree is a demanding but ultimately very rewarding place to work.  It offers the opportunity to progress to the most senior ranks of the company for those with aptitude, enthusiasm and a hard work ethic - the make up of the senior management team is testament to this.

A working day is rarely typical and I learned that adapting to ever changing demands is key.  Whilst this makes any job at Sthree demanding it is also fulfilling to succeed in such an environment.

SThree have undergone a lot of change in the last few years. The company has a lot going for it in terms of training and development, and is recognised in the industry for this.

Negatives are the very high staff turnover.

The people internally in my department.  A sense of unity snd knowledge sharing

Consultants who were rude or never appreciated what we did

Lovely.. dress down day on Fridays
