Working for Coca-Cola London Eye has been very rewarding for the past 8 years. It is a company that treats staff with respect and love, not forgetting the endless benefits for all staff members.

Starting as a Guest Services Assistant where I sold different types of tickets and interacted with many people from all kinds of backgrounds was a very enjoyable start to my working career at this company. After 4 years I moved to Cash Office, Finance where I was able to start in a new field with many opertunities and a lot to learn.

A typical day in the cash office is: organising the revenue from 4 attractions (London Eye, London Dungeons, London Aquarium & Shrek's Adventure!), ensuring that there reconciliation is completed accurately and in a timely manner and all relevent information is relayed to the relevent managers. Ensuring that the office safe balances at the end of the day. 

Maintaining the Scan Coin machines for daily use by the cashiers to dispense and deposit floats out for the day. Reconciling trade vouchers for all the pre mentioned attractions. 

I have learnt how to problem solve with discrepancies from revenue, vouchers and scan coin machines. I currently work in a team of 7 people. So, although it is a small team we manage all the things above and that too as a team.

I think the hardest part of the job is not having normal windows to look out of. We sometimes forget what the weather is like outside. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is the team I work with along with the company I work for.

As my CV details, I have spent the past 22 years working for Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ltd., with my most recent role as a Tech 2 Supervisor. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience within various sectors of the warehousing environment. I pride myself on being an honest, friendly and approachable supervisor. In addition, I am confident, self-motivated and extremely organised and relish the challenge of working within a busy environment and meeting deadlines.  An analytical and hardworking multi-tasker, I have excellent problem-solving skills which enable me to identify the root of the problem, develop an effective solution and minimise risk. 	I always persevere to achieve the best results and I am able to collect and analyse information and quickly grasp the issues.

My time as a Marketing Director at The Coca-Cola Company was, to put it mildly, a significant disappointment and a stark contrast to what was advertised. If you're looking for a genuine, impactful role in digital marketing, look elsewhere – it's a complete joke here.
From the outset, it was clear my role bore little resemblance to the job description. I was led to believe I'd be leading innovative strategies, but the reality was a stagnant, uninspired approach, where the agency leads the client. The most frustrating aspect was the complete lack of meaningful guidance. My manager's repeated advice to "fake it till you make it" wasn't just unhelpful; it was irresponsible and indicative of a deeply flawed internal structure. The word marketing transformation was used by everyone, on every presentation with no substance or understanding.
Beyond the professional disillusionment, I also experienced a deeply unsettling environment regarding diversity and inclusion. Despite Coca-Cola's public image, diversity is a joke internally. I personally felt the impact of cultural bias, which created an unwelcoming and often hostile atmosphere. This lack of genuine commitment to diversity permeated the culture and made an already challenging role even more difficult to endure.
In summary, my experience was one of misrepresentation, poor leadership, and a deeply disappointing lack of inclusivity. Save yourself the frustration and look for opportunities elsewhere.

I also took on a role of an office based Sales Representative, which Coke labeled as a ‘Virtual Rep’. These duties included making sure our national accounts remained happy by dealing with all their complaints directly. Organizing all the equipment movements (Install’s/Re-site/Withdraw). 
Dealing with equipment movements. Raising and organizing instillations/Withdraws for Coca-Cola equipment  
Sales - inbound & outbound drinks order. Driving sales increase. Speaking with our larger customers selling into business like Majestic wine and Cash and Cary's. Third party catering companies like Sodexo and Mars.
Building client base growth. Calling businesses installing Coca-cola's equipment. Signing new accounts to purchase direct from us. 

I learned excellent customer services skills. Excellent telephone skills. I also gained the skills to be patient with customers. 

I would say the hardest part of the job was the consumer response line, It was a free phone telephone number that alot of people used to abuse and prank call. It was more so frustrating than hard as these people would cause a delay on helping out actual customers with a real issue.

I worked a field sales merchandiser for Coca Cola and I can honestly say the most draining job I’ve had.
 First they mislead the pay and so called bonuses. They also miss lead the job role making out it’s field rep checking and things like that but really it ends up just being a stock replacement job.
You Have to use your own car visiting up-to 6 stores a day with poor fuel cost returns and a lot of maintenance to your own car.
Very very poor management with no signs of man management skills , your typical retail manager who just wants to badge and doesn’t have a clue how to actually manage. 
They also contradict themselves every time they visit to do a audit so you end up just giving up.
A lot of snakes as it’s quick to realise that this made up job isn’t important at all , the focus is more  you fit the strange culture to the company and get on as buddy’s chatting on what’s app group all day. If you try to just get on with the actual job then seem to not like that.. it’s monkey work but they make it difficult for no reason at all except to just show who’s in charge like most retail jobs it’s embarrassing. 
The people are on the next level of clueless and speak to you like it’s rocket science to merchandise bottles of coke. 
I was relieved when my probation period come to a end. 
Don’t be fooled into thinking a massive company like Coca Cola is going to be professional. 


A typical working week would involve territory planning for the week.
8 calls per days, a mixture of pubs, restaurants, small kiosks and convenience stores.

The main focus of the role was to get more shelf space which is termed facings and enhancing the awareness of the product range with the proprietor.

Coca-Cola have a vast range of cooler products which I am targeted to get new instillations into the premises and also dealing with any issues of existing fridges that they might be experiencing.

The most enjoyable part of the role is working within the pub and restaurant sector to activate marketing tools to promote Schweppes and Coca-Cola.

Although we work in a team defined as a area, I manage a territory within this area and the role is very autonomous with little interaction with the rest of the team. The only time we get together is when their are social events organised by the team manager or monthly meetings.

I have learnt how to manage my diary, prospecting for new business and developing existing working within a B2B FMCG environment.

Hold good morning meeting with the distributor,sales men and account developers. Then do the daily report and sent to the company business analyst. Later go the trade to work with the account developer.

Learnt that change is inevitable since the working environment was very dynamic,you to be fast, aggressive and work under pressure.

The company management was well organized but a few gaps in some departments when it came to problem solving.

The company followed  its own mission and vision so as to achieve its company goals. The employees worked closely together and supported each other.

The hardest part of the was to balance job work and social life. Worked through out the year including on public holidays and even some weekends.

The most enjoyable part is that the company has helped me grow my career path and gain knowledge and skills about leadership,coaching,time management and personal skills.

The work I currently do is deliver Coca Cola products to a variety of customers in the midlands .Each customer has its own restrictions or challenges ranging from stairs ,cellars, parking restrictions and the amount of stock required.I typicaly Start my day between 0400/0500 depending on what time restraints I have after my paperwork checks and vehicle checks I progess to my first customer.aprox 90% of my deliverys require me to handball the stock on to premises which can be very strenuous.I also have use of sack barrows and powerd pallet trucks to use where appropriate.I have gained an extensive knowledge of U.K.road networks and have built  great customer focus to maintain a high level .

right from day one as an agency worker the emphasis is on health and safety as a culture i have not seen  or heard of another that are as good at it as they are. the twelve hour shifts are long and sometimes monotonous but somehow the really busy shifts seem to pass a little quicker and there is what was for me an added bonus of working for three shifts on then three days off. salary was pretty good    for the job i was doing but then you have to consider that you are working, days, nights, weekends and bank holidays to earn it. the people there are great and when they are on the shop they are really  focussed and you do need to be as a momentary lapse in concentration can have disasterous consequences.

I am willing to work any time, work in longer hours. i have learned that the main focus of the company is the customer satisfaction about the drinks. people who drinks coca- cola experience the happiness when it comes in drinking the product. it is also proven that good services is a big help in achieving the goal. the management are also productive when it comes to their employees, given with the right compensation and salaries that the employees working in the company. Co- Workers should work as a team so that everyone can work with minimal supervision, work without conflict so that there is a smooth,enjoyable workplace anyone can have. the hardest part of the job is when you cant handle big transaction in rush hours. i think you will enjoy if you will also love your work.
