I worked closely with two fee earners. We communicated well and the longer I spent in the role meant that I got to know their clients better and I became more familiar with preparing standard document packages for larger clients.

The partner I reported to managed our team well and I always felt able to make suggestions that I thought would improve our way of working.

My colleagues were friendly and fun to work with and we worked very well as a team and if one of us was particularly busy another secretary would help out if there was capacity.

I had a high volume of work and I sometimes found it hard to find the time for housekeeping tasks such as file closing etc., but was able to catch up with these during quieter periods.

I most enjoyed working with a good team. The partner and associate I supported had a good working relationship and I always found them both very approachable.

I was able to shadow a leading partner within the firm for a two week period and i learnt a great deal, in terms of how the company runs and is set up to how the partner deals with highly complex cases and managing all the parties involved.

Full of a lot of people who will help you.

To come in half an hour before work and stay half an hour after work.

Enjoyable is getting stuck into your work load.
