What is the best part of working at the company?
When I started with trescal  over 9 years ago they were a good company to work for but now absolutely not, there are too many  ladder hungry cost cutting ,,I don’t want to say how I really feel but seriously the glory ladder climbers have ruined a good company, rant over time for a new job 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Cost cutting, they don’t care about the employees one single bit, it’s all about saving money for them, and yes I agree saving money in a company but basically just sacking all the drivers and bringing in couriers wow that’s a low blow for me , I’m pretty sure this is going to affect Trescal as a company in the uk,, and I mean no disrespect to couriers.. take care piece and love 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Trescal has made it Toxic they just don’t care 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It used to be good a good company to work for but now there’s too much toxic cost cottony going on

I have been with Trescal since 2009, and grown with the business. Trescal offer the staff and employees the opportunity to grow and develop. I recently graduated through the Future Leaders Program. The year long program helped equip me and 11 of my colleagues from around the world with skills training, individual coaching, on the job experiences and the chance to work on an exciting new project. If you are willing to work hard Trescal provides staff with great opportunities to grow and develop. I've been with the company over 10 years and enjoy my job greatly.

The upper management don't have a clue. Processes get changed to harder ones which slows everything down and puts you behind whilst trying to learn.
There are branches that have the same problems ongoing over years but nothing gets done about them and it reflects on other branches. 
Worked in customer facing roll whilst making myself ill all through the Covid 19 lockdowns, not even a thank you whilst other team members got bonuses. 

Undeniably one if the worst companies I have ever worked for. Completely underpaid and training is at the bottom of the list along with pay reviews. Everything is more important than actually doing the job and heavily criticised while discussing problems with fellow colleagues rather than team leaders, who are never around, other than to catch you talking.

I come into work and check what's out of date and calibration on the system then inform the managers by email what's out of date then I go to the pick up points and pick the tools up bring them back to my work shop.
I strip them apart  and check for any damage  then put them back together and do the calibration then update the system  and take them back.
on site I am my own manager  so I do all the updating and ordering for tools (order parts and new tools) .

Engaging environment, lots of intelligent people, extremely professional colleagues, demanding clients and expert suppliers...
If you think you're a technical person... think again! This is and will be a working environment where continual improvement is GUARANTEED!

wouldn't recommend working here unless you're a bit older and are just looking to wind down your career and earn some pocket money. Engineers in the building are all paid below market value. For example most people in the building are below 30k a year and that's with years of experience. CSR pretty much get the same wage too even though the Engineer normally finds doing their job too. But I guess you legally couldn't pay any less.

I enjoy working at Trescal because of the team i work with and who i work for. i did learn a new system and still learn something new each day. the most enjoyable part for me is the team and my manager, it is also the customers as i have built a good repour with the customers i deal with  

I wouldn’t recommend working here as the management from the very top down is awful, none of them understand the technical or practical aspects of the job and expect you to work like a robot.

The pay was way below what it should’ve been for the work carried out, and for how much knowledge the engineers had.

I would highly recommend Trescal in Stevenage as place to work. It is local, easy to get to. Flexible start and finish times. Flexible work/home balance. Amazing manager to work for who is always very supportive. The administrative team and all staff is very helpful and makes you feel very welcome. Good salary and benefits. Lots of training available.
