A typical day at work:- I had received an e-mail over night from another studio outside of the EU.  They had requested that I start the immigration/visa process immediately to ensure that a member of staff was available to join our team on the date specified to ensure the game we were working on was delivered on time.  I had to prioritise my workload to ensure that  this happened.  I reported to my Manager that I had a new urgent priority so my other work would be put back slightly.  My co-workers were friendly and we always had a good rapport.The hardest part of my job was immigration, getting the skills to match the job set & ensuring that the salary was at the appropriate level to meet the required criteria.
I always had a sense of job satisfaction when I knew that the member of staff was on his/her way to join us & all of the work that I had put into it had paid off & the game would go out on time.

Ubisoft UK is  great place to work, employees are actively encouraged to be creative, bring new ideas and immerse themselves in their role.
The company is strong on employee engagement and staff turnover is generally low.
The general feeling is generally 'work hard and play hard' when the pressure is on to meet a deadline then it's all hands on deck and it's a common to work late to get the job done, flexibility is important but when it's quieter, in the summer months especially there's a good emphasis on fun and relaxation and opportunity for the team to relax and unwind together.

A typical day is fast-paced and requires balancing multiple tasks efficiently. I learned valuable industry skills, problem-solving techniques, and how to adapt to changing priorities. Management is supportive and gives clear direction, while the workplace culture is highly collaborative and welcoming. The hardest part of the job is managing tight deadlines during peak periods. The most enjoyable part is working alongside a great team to achieve our goals.

The daily Job was interesting and also nice because you worked with nice co-workers. I got the chance to meet a lot of people from different areas around the world and it was pretty funny to meet so many different cultures in 1 area. The only Problem was that you will get Information rather late then on time to provide perfect Customer Service.

Management are bullies. Lack of support. There are some very nice staff but management is unsupportive. If your face does not fit you will eventually be pushed out. The pressure and stress is no good for you mental health.  On the outside they say all the right things , positive about mental health, good culture and distancing themselves away from the bad name they have for bulling. But the reality is they are no better now than they were. 

During my employment at this company I have always heard the mantra about inclusivity. Unfortunately this is not the case. There is only a few managers there that actually help. The rest is pretty clueless. The work environment is disorganised, hostile at times and meaningful changes are very slow. However, changes that directly affect the work schedule (immensely to the negative of employees) are being brought on without any or very little warning.

A typical day at work would be:-  A query from another studio may have been e-mailed to me during the previous evening.  This could be a report that was urgently needed by Head Office or an urgent request to get a member of staff from another studio to the U.K. as soon as possible.  This required me to prioritise my workload & ensure that the most important/urgent task was completed first and to deadline.

It's a great place if you can get in, because nobody really does much in the way of work and they only ever promote internally. So you've got very inexperienced people doing high salary roles. You used to get free merch, not so much now. The senior leadership are broadly incompetent but if you can avoid it getting into your head too much, you can have a good time there.

It's great to start career . You will love this company culture and team bonding is great here. Women grow together sessions will be held here which help to motivate us to grow technical and mental way.
Working hours are strict sometimes but can do hybrid here 3 days office in a week.


Great benefits for employees but overwork culture hits hard, scheduling for projects can be very intense and everyone working in production roles need to work overtime at some point. Overtime pay is not a thing, and you're given extra time to take leaves instead.
