I've been with Ultrasound Direct for 2 years and have always felt supported and appreciated for the work I do. It rarely feels like a chore if any extra work is required because it's always noticed. 

I work in all the clinics in the Northwest Region and this was discussed with me clearly at interview. All our team work shifts and across the region . I work weekends, evenings and day shifts and I love my role.It’s stressful but rewarding work job as you have to deal with sad news and vulnerable situations. I love the variety of phone calls, admin work, clinic work, dealing with midwifes and clinical colleagues.




I let the NHS and came to work with Ultrasound Direct almost 2 years ago and I have not regretted a single moment. I love the variety of the job, I oversee clinics in different locations which allows me to be involved in different demographics across the country. I enjoy providing the clients with an excellent customer service and being part of a team that all work towards the same goal. I really do love working here and the opportunities it presents.

I've worked for Ultrasound Direct now for just over 6 years. Over this time I have been given many training opportunities and seen the company grow from strength to strength. There is a huge sense of team spirit both in the office and across the clinics, making it enjoyable to be at work everyday. I find the most enjoyable part of the role is the interaction we have with clients, knowing we are an important part of their journey.

I have been with the company nearly a year now.
The workload is manageable and at a slower pace then most private companies which is great for difficult scans. Management are really supportive and easy to approach.
Flexible Clinic times are a real bonus And payment is always prompt.

A great variety of responsibilities and activities to get involved in across all business functions so no two days are the same. Trusted to develop the regional business, facilitating innovation and your own initiatives to achieve success. Ability to operate independently within a well known and highly respected brand with full support from a major group as and when required.

My working day is varied, my time is split between scanning and admin. I oversee 5 West Midlands clinics which means I am often travelling between them, so no two days are the same. I love the variety that comes with working alongside different colleagues in different clinics. We have a fantastic team and I am very grateful to be part of it.

Lovely job and place to work however it’s hard going on the staff due to lack of sick pay, maternity pay, etc rate of pay is basically minimum wage with annual leave divided into hourly rate so you don’t earn when you’re on holiday. Looks like you’re earning more than you actually are. Can be hard to support yourself financially. Looks more appealing than it is. 

I have been with USD for almost 8 years and can’t say a bad word about it. Thoroughly enjoying being part of a great team, we have excellent relationships between sonographers and head office and I recommend USD highly. The company is well-led, safe and responsible and fully committed to providing the best care and experience for clients.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Ultrasound Direct Ltd. I have received good support and ample training opportunities to further my administration and customer service skills.
