Veezu

The only positive aspect of working at Veezu is the people – the team members are supportive, friendly, and genuinely try to make the best out of a difficult environment. 

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience at Veezu is overwhelmingly negative. Management is dismissive of employee feedback and operates with a distinct lack of transparency. There is little room for genuine growth or development, and any initiatives suggested by staff to improve conditions are often ignored or shut down without explanation. Senior leadership appears to focus on minor infractions rather than addressing broader, systemic issues that truly impact the team. Communication from management is inconsistent, with directives changing at a moment’s notice, leaving staff feeling unsupported and undervalued.

HR is equally as problematic, offering little support or assistance when issues arise. Rather than addressing legitimate concerns raised by employees, HR often seems more interested in protecting management’s interests, contributing to a culture that feels dismissive and unwelcoming. The overall environment can be incredibly demoralising, with management’s behaviour at times coming across as patronising and unnecessarily critical. 

I wouldn’t recommend working here unless you’re prepared for a high-stress, thankless environment where the only real support comes from your fellow colleagues.

I originally started working at GO CARZ after having to leave a full time job due to family commitments, the flexible hours they had really suited me and despite my initial apprehension regarding the bad rep they had, working in the office office wasn't too bad, even after getting another full time job I remained working with them because I enjoyed the people I worked with.
Things seemed to start going down hill when they were purchased and rebranded to VEEZU, it seemed VEEZU had brought GOCARZ not because they had any interest in that industry, the customers, the drivers or the staff but because they could profit, many lost their jobs because it is cheaper to employ people abroad for the fraction of the cost irrelevant of the poorer service they provided.
Understandably a companies main priority is profit but usually there's a bit of balances say 75% profit and 25% for everything else but with VEEZU it seems is its 100% percent profit.



Working for Veezu has given me valuable experience as a taxi driver. The flexibility of choosing shifts is one of the biggest benefits, and the app is generally straightforward to use. Busy periods can provide good earning opportunities, especially on weekends and peak hours. Like any private hire job, some days are busier than others, but overall it’s a decent platform for drivers who are organised, customer-focused, and willing to put the hours in. Support from the office can vary depending on the situation, but the work itself suits drivers who enjoy independence and flexible working.

Veezu really helped me to develop my career. It's a very fast paced environment and no day is the same but the team support is amazing. Veezu care about it's employees and there is plenty of support available if needed.
It is very satisfying to be part of such a growing company and you really get a feel that your work is helping to shape it's growth. Plenty of work benefits and a growth opportunities. 

The office at Shrewsbury has a very unpleasant environment, staff and management are very clicky so if you don’t fit in then your shifts will be awful. Training provided is atrocious and just end up throwing you in the deep end. Also the kitchen they have for staff is absolutely vile, no one cleans it and the cleaner herself hardly ever goes. No one is interested in helping you out. They also don’t care about the complaints they receive and lie to the people who make them.  

I loved my time at Veezu.  The Senior Management Team are dynamic, forward thinking and exciting to work with.  Time is allocated to development and opportunities to get involved are endless!  The world is your oyster if you want to get ahead in your career and develop skills and experience in areas outside of positions and comfort zones.  

This company is entirely about profits, and does not care about its employees whatsoever. The "benefits" of working here are absolutely zero, unless you count an arbitrary "popcorn friday" in the communal area. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. 

Avoid this place at all costs, they sell you a dream to make you think it’s a good job but it’s nothing but nightmare. you get abuse from passengers but also even more abuse from drivers, whilst the higher ups don’t do anything but pretend they’re busy in silly meetings! so unprofessional and their practices are so unprofessional 

This company lied from the moment I started. Everyone please avoid.
When I started the job it supposed to be part time work. I was then given 36hr contracted hours. That’s not part time work. Backbiting and backstabbing work culture.

Great staff fast paced can be extremely stressful at times  not much support from management can be clicky if you don't fit in. Although some staff are great
