Wellington offers top training for all their staff in all areas necessary for the position you work in. The training is on-going and you get certificates for all your achievements. They look after their staff extremely well and overall it is a fantastic place to be. It comes with a sense of pride as you become a part of history and at this time it celebrates 150 years of service. It is a place very much sought after and where the students board from all over the world, backgrounds and cultures. However the family/community spirit is an over  unity to experience. You meet some very interesting people and can enhance on your personal development. I would recommend Wellington for both the boarding experience to those who want to try college in a special and unique setting - and for the employer who wants the very best out of their career and working environment.

I really enjoy work with them in during 6 year, ive learn some of good from excellence chef colleague with advice and suggest things with way in skills of foods, cooking,
they provide to service in breakfast, lunch, Supper, also free gluten as well as vegetarian, they do fresh products everyday, and in during summer time as they would provide have an BBQ,
  
also they been provide an update of health&safety and foods& Safety passport in every 3 months,their partnership with Sodexo.
 
also they are very friendly and a truly team supportive each other
and work together well. a great sense of humour. 

also course i had some hard time at work as up and down, but
i learn to improve the better,more organised. when you had bad day so some those Chef Colleague will take full support you with Chin up.

A very good place to work. Excellent opportunities to progress. Lots of chances to train, management held weekly training sessions to enforce good practice in all areas of the job, i.e. Correct use of chemicals, ppe, working at height, safety of pupils and staff, fire drills. 
Hardest part was working to certain deadlines within the confines of the school day. Highly rewarding job.

Generally nice people at this location, however the majority of management not up to standard. I found the repitative nature of the job quite difficult to comprehend as it did not interest me. To me, it seemed a good job if need something quick and easy for a few months, but nothing more. Departments did not work together for best results, resulting in a disjointed environment.

The college has great history and is a beautiful site to work on. The college staff work together as one large team, from domestics, logistics to the teaching staff.
Only down fall is, depending what department you work in, there isn't much on offer to climb the ladder and the wages could be a lot better for the work that you do.

Amazing place too work everybody gets along. Management is really good and informative and really appreciate personal going ons such as if school is getting too much or if somethings going on at home. 
The holiday included is amazing as you get over 13 weeks of holiday due to the students not being at the school.

During my time at Wellington College I was able to work directly with the youth. That alone was satisfying as I enjoy teaching, motivating, and coaching. The pay was wonderful and a typical work week was Monday-Saturday which is ideal for me. The only negative about Wellington College was that I couldn't commit completely due to my schedule as a professional athlete.

Wellington College is a great place to work. Staff are well taken care of, breaks are generous and job security is excellent. Frequent review of salary also means wages are always far better than the national averages.

The job itself was easy and the members were lovely. The workplace culture was very  gossipy, everyone knew each others business. Management is very poor, very two faced and very unprofessional. The pay is minimum wage.
