Other invigilators are really lovely and great to work alongside of. Reception staff are also great and very understanding if you have any issues (personal or work related). 

The sales team and some of the office staff can unfortunately be really rude towards invigilators and will treat you quite poorly in comparison to their peers. There is a lack of opportunities for invigilators to progress within the gallery, we are often left out of company activities (parties, other social events), and the job and hours are not at all secure. Working an 8 hour shift on your feet can also be really challenging on the body and the company absolutely refuses to allow invigilators to sit for their shifts without giving a valid reason. There is a LOT of miscommunication between invigilators, reception, management, HR, and other upper staff, which can result in missed opportunities, and accommodations made for invigilators with health conditions.
