The call handlers are great to work with and really pull together to deliver a quality service however the management is diabolical, no leadership skills demonstrated, no caring for staff, absolutely no communication whatsoever, the call handlers run the business not the CEO. There are no policies or procedures in place , whenever there is a change of process it is by word of mouth and the staff are expected to cascade this to their colleagues. No Health and Safety processes in place, no appraisal system in place. Could go on and on about this employer, if you don’t want to be micro managed then don’t apply to work there. The Board need to look at the management structure and actually speak to the people on the ground or at least create a staff survey to gauge the feelings of their very valuable staff who have an absolute wealth of experience and skills between them and have so much to contribute to the business but due to lack of any communication are never consulted about anything.via

Worked here since day one of the service. Over the past year been treated horrible off certain people within the alliance. Alot of the staff are brilliant to work with. Seems to be if your face doesn't fit! Felt as though I was pushed out of working here. There is no work life balance, staff don't seem to be appreciated for all the hard work they do. management don't communicate
 with staff properly even though seem to always be in meetings. The management don't seem to appreciate the staff and how much work you do for them. No payment for being in call

The staff and management at the Alliance are fantastic always pleasant, proactive and willing to support regardless of which department it is. There is never criticism or blame culture but just strong and consistent support. Training and guidance is always available and the culture is one of family rather than work employees 

Best practice HR gives this rapidly growing company a solid foundation of staff that are aware and take pride in the tremendous role they play in providing early GP or Nurse access to patients that need clinical care fast . Great team to work with in a really good working environment !

Poor management starting from the very top downwards. No policies and procedures in place as to colleagues who need HR guidance. Management constantly making changes to real employment law issues changing hours without notice unable to stick to any agreed employment law rules. I have worked in administration for over 20 years bad management at its best.

I have been here a few months now and really enjoy working for the GP Alliance. I learn new things everyday. I am given help straightaway with anything i need training on or things I might be unsure of. If any problems arise we all pull together as a team to get these resolved. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I feel proud to work for a company that offers such a great service.

There are no processes for review within the company, no efforts made to improve the poor workplace atmosphere. No standards or procedures. All standards are passed by word of mouth. They often hire through Jobwise on temporary contracts so as to not need to bother about employment rights. It's also very cliquey and if you are not in the clique, God help you. 

Really enjoyed my time at the company some day's were super busy other days more chilled, training is fantastic and interesting. The people are amazing and the team are extremely supportive.

managers favour those who are literally their family. mothers and daughters working together. managers not knowing what to do when issues arise on a call leaving you to make mistakes, take the blame and be forced to quit.

Awful place to work. Avoid.   Bullying by managers and brushed under carpet. People let go at the drop of a hat, no consideration that they may need proper or additional training. If the service manager doesn't like you, you're out.
