I worked in a small office environment with three other colleagues.  My role covered designing the presentation of properties on
brochures and window cards, writing property descriptions and uploading properties on web portals. I gained recognition for professional looking photographs and took on that role. I redesigned the brochure layout and again later, when new templates where introduced, I did the same for all media. I taught myself Photoshop and enhanced photographs to improve them. I dealt with advertising for local and national magazines and newspapers. I set up templates for Microsoft office programs, greeted clients and organised viewings and appraisals. I produced memorandums and invoices and maintained stock levels.

Working at Winkworth Highcliffe/Mudeford was one of the best working environments & experience I had whilst in the  Estate Agency field. I loved my job, and hadn’t been for the distance I had to drive every day to get there, I wouldn’t have left. It was a very sad goodbye and I cannot praise the Company enough and every single member of the team for making my time there one of the best ever. I also would add that anyone joining the Company will undoubtedly benefit tremendously from the combined wealth of  knowledge  and support that the team has to offer has a whole. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Easy Commute.  Feeling charitable.. As the pay is do low you know you must be benefiting someone somewhere. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not being paid enough to meet basic living costs. No pay reviews/ appraisals

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This would depend on which office you are based in.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive. Start work. Don't pause. Don't get time for lunch. Pop to corner shop to buy a jar of coffee with your own money as your boss doesnt provide it. Work. Go home.

Driving around the countryside 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Poor management, lack of support, lack of training, lack of structured appraisals 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor morale amongst the staff, no team building, no support from management to encourage team building 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A good variation of jobs to do both in and out of the office

Winkworth is a franchise, so each office differs greatly depending on the franchisee. I am fond of Winkworth as brand. They are open and accepting to people without much experience and offer great learning courses to those that are new to the industry. 

If you work hard enough, you will earn good money. The only negative of the company is that I did not see room for progression.

Supporting a busy demanding team of negotiators, my responsibilities are to prepare property details, coordinating floor plans, photography and brochure production, creating sales documentation, maintain property files, making sure that all advertisement of the properties are up to date and showing the property in the best way possible. I also deal with vendors, clients and contractors either face to face, by email or over the telephone.

The brand but that’s is all as the company is franchised

Employers are individual owners 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible, the owner is ruthless and does not care about staff

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No regard for breaks, health and safety and lunch

A varied and interesting job selling property in Barnes which is an affluent part of London, therefore superb properties to present. I started as administrator and then expanded the role into sales negotiator. Loved dealing with great clients and staff. Hardest part of the job was the juggling when it got busy. Great management.

This is a very good estate agent. So if your selling your house anytime soon stick with them winkworth will do you proud. I used to fax a lot of people an take a lot of calls and make he appointments for clients to view property's.

Winkworth is an amazing company to work for, all members of the team will make you feel mostly welcome.
Most people find dealings with deposit hard but I quite enjoy the part.
