I have worked with W J King's on two separate occasions and enjoyed the work experience both times. The first time there I was one of their Vauxhall aftersales managers and the second time working for them I was their vehicle preparation manager for the sale side of the business. 

No up keep on there buildings like working in back street garages with main dealer title above door. No benefits at all standard holiday, weekend working, no time off at Christmas and not even a card from director, just a hand shake, and the same spill every year. Also pay is poor for this company. Structure is poor. And roofs leak on to 1930

Most departments have very friendly and supportive colleagues .
Always there is someone to approach when in need . The hours are very much fixed and most work at the same time. There are many people working over 20 years for this company which tells how they liked the company. 


Doesn’t seem to have the enquiry levels that a main dealer needs. Systems are very outdated and need investment to improve the efficiency of the business. Investment also needed on the advertising of cars on autotrader (have a limit on how many cars they can advertise). Team are lovely and if it’s your first job in car sales it would be okay.

employ you for 6 months then fail probation for no valid reason - time wasters managers don't care about what you do they are too busy gossiping about other people in the company as they are unhappy 

Co-workers are friendly and always up for a chat when they aren't busy.
Management are always helpful.
Learned how to use a switchboard.

Awful company to work for. My manager was clueless. They give you a 3 days sales process course and then just expect you to get on with it! New car sales manager is way above where he should be.
