The person supposed to train me spent all day on the phone talking about their personal life.  I learned very little. what I did learn was mostly incorrect. I had to fill in the gaps myself by asking the right people the right questions.  I was left alone or with people who were also new and unable to train me.  Most were too busy to train me. when I brought this to the attention of management, and explained that I am struggling to learn this way and that I have slight autism, so I need consistency. the response from management was "great, well we will need to make adjustments for that now" I never asked for "adjutsments" I just wanted them to understand why it was important to be trained correctly.  on the back of this they had a meeting without me and decided to let me go rather than fixing the issues.  As I was agency I didn't have a leg to stand on.  I believe I would have had a case for discrimination if I wasn't employed by the agency.  I was early every day, applied myself 100% was keen and eager to learn, but they just cast me aside.  I still lose sleep thinking about it, but probably for the best that I no longer work there. it was devastating to my mental health.  

A typical day meant juggling urgent issues with little clarity, while trying to push through slow, inconsistent processes. I learned resilience and commercial governance, though often by necessity rather than support, fixing problems management should have prevented. The culture was one of good people working hard in spite of leadership, not because of it. The hardest part was reconciling the gap between stated values and daily reality. The most enjoyable part was collaborating with colleagues who genuinely cared and problem-solved together. The central issue is a lack of commercial maturity and limited oversight from the HQ and the parent company, Mundy's.

The job itself is fine, can be challenging at times but not stressful. The managers and atmosphere was very bad as it was like installers vs managers. Managers were rude often when they didn’t get their way. Jobs was never organised properly by managers  and often left it to installers to do and then they’d expect you to work all day and night. The relationship between installers is good except for the odd few. Small warehouse with no organisation and they refuse to get more space even though it’s needed. Very understaffed but that might be because several coloured people were hired within the year and all fired or left within the year.  Not a lot of people stay at the job for longer then a year which indicates something about the workplace

The work itself is challenging but enjoyable and there are positions at various levels of technical ability. 
For a technology company, technical knowledge and skills aren't appreciated, recognised or rewarded. There are lots of empty promises of "prove yourself as much as you can and there will be opportunities in the future to progress", but these opportunities never come and it ends up being management expecting 200% effort but pay for 50%, and get in a huff if asked for a payrise/promotion. 
Staff wellbeing and best interests aren't cared for at all by upper management. 
If you just want a job with an income then it can be a good place to work. If you have dreams, aspirations and know your worth, look elsewhere.

Imagine working for a company that puts your well being and work life balance high on the agenda.  Hard work, enthusiasm and being part of the Yunex family is appreciated and rewarded.   There are peaks and troughs in work as with any place, the good thing about Yunex is the quality and the controls in place to make sure time is spent on productive work rather than firefighting.

The Senior team are great, the comms is very good - better than any other company I have worked for.  

Someone going the extra mile is recognised and there are clear paths for open honest feedback so we can all improve together.

Colleagues are friendly and supportive, I am finding the culture at Yunex Traffic a great place to work and I enjoy going into the office. 

Being an Intern, I have found it great that my learning and professional development is considered an important aspect of my employment. I feel my work and achievements are recognised and I receive frequent feedback in how I am doing in my role.

Work is fast-paced, especially due to a great period of change at the moment. However this is providing valuable knowledge for me and makes every day different! 

Once it's established you're good at something, you'd better like it because you'll be doing the same thing for eternity!  Some lower management and staff VERY set in their ways, company makes promises it doesn't keep, always reject suggestions, but if they're good, they'll wait a few months and then implement them like it was their idea. Couldn't wait to leave, lol.

Managers are very poorly organised, expect field engineers to take all the blame. No work life balance. Mon-fri, short staff so on call often, switch offs and night works. Pay not too great. Get a van and fuel card and uniform. Training provided. Overall culture is do what we ask even if unreasonable or overworked or leave the company. Can't say same for office workers. They seem to get respect, just not field engineers.

interesting work, clean working space, some managers are very nice

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The manager didn't behave properly, he didn't check the facts, he just came to reprimand me and then fired me after a few days.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
ist not the best but also not the worst

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
start early, Friday early finish, no clock in and clock out

The business has gone through a period of massive change after being sold by Siemens to Atlantia.
Whilst strategically this is a good direction for the company it has made it a very stressful place to work as none of our new systems work properly and we are massively understaffed.
We do have flexible working but this has become and excuse to work exceptionally long hours from home, and this is now expected as the norm.
