You get treated well and people are nice and understanding. The customers are quite polite and OK to deal with most of the time. The company has a good reputation so the suppliers help you out when you need it. 

You really try to focus on customer support but unfortunately, the systems are constantly slow and crashing so you spend most of your time being frustrated and unable to do anything.

The payscales for roles are not very clear and there's so many different positions that do similar work but some get paid far less than others. You are expected to pick up extra work when someone leaves and get no reward. The hours are quite long for no reason and there's no flexibility with working times.

Due to the high workload, everyone is so busy they don't have any time to actually fix any issues. Management talk about wanting to create a great rewarding environment but this actually does not seem to happen. There's no reward for picking up extra work - you just get more work.

The office is lovely and most members of staff and management are very friendly but the work load is horrific, lack of support with it and the customers are atrocious! Expect to be sworn/shouted/belittled by customers every single day. Calls are fired through continuously throughout the whole day without full time to log or resolve. The dealers are mainly fragile toxic masculinity salesmen who are rude and lack basic manners. Progression is very slow unless you want to move departments. Overall if you need a quick phone job which isn’t the worst pay in the field then go for it, but don’t stay too long as the nature of the job will probably destroy your mental health 

I have worked at Zenith for over a year, and can honestly say its the best company I have ever worked for in my 15+ year career.  Its a collaborative, fast paced environment, where everyone will bend over backwards to help you out. The company is agile and can adapt to the changes in market, and are committed to driving change across the organisation in all aspects from diversity & inclusion to Technology. 

I have been given the opportunity to work autonomously, take the lead on projects in my team and to work on a very interesting variety of work around my childcare commitments.

The leadership team, are down to earth, smart and really care about the company and it's people, which is evidenced by the culture of authenticity and celebrated differences Zenith that has. 

I enjoy coming to work every day and couldn't ask for a better more supportive team.

I’ve only given it 1 star because you cannot give zero. This is the worst most toxic place I’ve ever worked. The pay is shocking for the amount of work you are expected to do. The culture is the most toxic environment I’ve ever worked in. If you don’t fit into the environment or your face doesn’t immediately fit, people will be rude, belittle you and nothing will be done about it. Managers not only lack regard for the wellbeing off staff but sometimes say/do things to make it even worst and nothing comes of the back of this. No one cares. So many professional lines are blurred in the name of favouritism. Managers doing unquestionable things with team members, conflicts of interest. Number threats of physical violence with nothing done, abuse and nothing done about it. 

Not only is the culture toxic, the business model is outdated and most of the staff are average at best, most people are focused on looking busy rather than doing any work. 

I could go on but, if you are thinking of working here, don’t.  They are far better places to work!!! 

Terrible place to work, the people who work in the office or are in with the managers/team leaders get preferential treatment, especially when it comes the allocation of holidays, promotions etc.. 

Its also got a massive "its not my job" culture and if your lucky enough to get a promotion of any kind youll basically do absolutely nothing all day but "delegate" 

The only thing tolerable is the wages and overtime, the pay isnt too bad in all honesty and the overtime is mostly readily available l but that is it. Absolutely terrible place to work.

Unless your face fits or your "mates" with someone high up.

Working here was really difficult. There’s a lot of micromanagement, and staff are treated more like school kids than trusted employees.

issues with fairness — people get treated better than others, and there were situations that didn’t feel inclusive or properly handled, which made things uncomfortable.

The workload is very high, but the pay doesn’t match the level of work expected. On top of that, management isn’t always strong, and some people seem to be promoted without the right experience.

Overall, it’s a very stressful place to work and one of the worst I’ve experienced. It would really benefit from better leadership and a more supportive, fair environment.

I’ve worked at Zenith twice in two different departments, originally left for a better opportunity. After being made redundent I returned to the Commercial/HGV department, instantly was made to feel under pressure before event being trained up on my role. After working at Zenith for 5 months I left, management would ignore my requests if WFH (this was a benefit), but proceeded to allow the rest of the team to do so. Managers are only nice to the people they like, if they don’t like you they will push you out. AVOID, not a nice or fulfilling place to work and no options to develop onto different roles. 

Zenith itself is a good company to work for would definitely recommend working in any branch. Glasgow site as a mechanic is simply poorly organised, not enough workshop space for the work load, often the correct equipment to do the job is not available and the middle management team are tight fisted with money that isn't even there own. Reluctant to even buy simple things for the benefit of the workforce. P.P.E often supplied only after someone has an accident or problem that would have been avoided by said P.P.E. However if you can get a hold of the higher management team from down south they often fix these issues and overrule middle management to get things done.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It does get very busy and sometimes the breakdowns roadside are very complex. Service providers sometimes dont understand that Zenith are the customer and own the asset not the name on the equipment.

Great on both accounts and I was well looked after with my disabilities 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive, set up laptop and get stuck into the work at hand

Certain Team Leaders were lovely. The rest absolutely awlful and hardly in the office. Thought one of my colleagues was the team leader at first. Pay is absolutely awlful at minimum wage it is not ideal but for the amount of work I did it is absolutely shocking. Restaurant downstairs is crazy expensive and there are no other shops around or anything so bring your own lunch or expect to be robbed at Butler's restaurant. One certain Team Leader is the reason why I stayed as long as I did (3 months) otherwise I would have left within a week. Don't bother working here if you want to enjoy your job and not be stressed at work.
