I give guidance to parents on regular time tables; in order support their parental engagement role, whilst
 Giving effective solutions to problems, I simultaneously facilitate and support the family to be proficient and positively effective, in their own problem solving. A strong addition to this is that I am a trained parent group leader, presenting the family links parenting and nurturing programme, so I am able to adapt some of the strategies within this programme, to my daily work.
 I also support other professional agencies to achieve outcomes; in a joint working way. Using good information sharing techniques, which ensure confidentiality controls. Whilst engaging in these practices, I always work with the child’s/ young Person’s, safeguarding rights and needs, at the forefront of the processes, in line with local authority guidelines, for example being mindful of informing procedures, i.e. LADO and strict information sharing controls and constraints. 
I can organise and prioritise; large work loads and work to pressured time constraints; in a calm and focused way. I am flexible and able to work in a way which accommodates the needs of the service users
I regularly coordinate and chair meetings; which include parents, other professional agencies etc. in a team around the child focused way.
I collate and prepare information and reports and use evaluation tools to monitor progress; also review strategies and share outcome information. As part of my natural working methods I always work in a non-judgemental way; practicing a non-discriminatory approach. I continue this practice in an effort to provide equal opportunities; whilst also giving full attention to health and safety and also maintaining confidential working practices. I am aware of and practice; working within department policy and procedure guidelines and parameters. This includes working knowledge of safeguarding children and recognising risk and also procedure for reporting and recording.

The company values how long you’ve served rather than your actual skills, ability and performance. For example, a high performing individual who has worked for the company for 4 years has absolutely no chance of promotion compared to the lowest performing employee with 20 years of service. The salaries are very poor. Some departments abuse the use of zero hour contracts to remove employees rights and treat them however they like whilst they have the expectation of working like a full time employee. The management appear to be full of ‘dead wood’ that have essentially been at the company decades and they want to pick up an easy salary, therefore, they offer no support or development as this would be additional work for them. The pension scheme is really good if you manage to reach retirement age. If you’re a person that wants to put in 40% effort everyday and get rewarded after 15 years service with roles where you basically do nothing then this is the company for you. 

not a good place to work, working as a trainee carer its posh name enablement coordinator  full time hours and on the new contract you can be working between the hours from 7 in the morning till 10 a clock at night and you could finish even later than 10 at night sometimes. managers don't care and when you have just finished work night shift  they expected you to wake at 5;30 next morning to do it all over again. They make you do the nvq level 2 in care in your own time. you don't have the time cause your working full time and they keep moving you from area to area and never let you settle in. A very bichy environment every one just talks about evey one behind their back.

I worked for Bradford MDC in a Social Work role for several years. I watched them with others and experienced myself their underhanded, and are completely blase attitude to any laws enployers are governed by.
I, the same as so many others, have seen considerable evidence of their ability to walk over Equal Opportunities, H.R recommendations and even Employment Tribunal findings,
It is a general belief that Bradford MDC are hand in hand with the Freemasons.
Hence their utter ignorance of any Government Act.
They are appalling to work for. 
The camaraderie in the workplace is wonderful but created mainly through fear.

The Site Manager role is quite new within schools. With more and more policies and procedures coming into place in regards to safeguarding children and Health and Safety, the need for a skilled person in order to manage these is required.
This role for me currently involves making sure that all services to the school are running without a problem, and that all relevant checks for functional use as well as legal requirements are met. This includes all aspects of Health and safety, risk assessments, Fire alarms, Security alarms, Security systems for entry and egress, emergency lighting etc.
I am also responsible for managing 6 cleaners and their equipment, as well as being directly involved in managing and supervising any contractors which may be on site for any works.

• Collect, transport, carry refuse, either paladins, wheeled bins, dustbins, sacks and excess refuse to vehicle and load, including returning
• Operate hopper controls and lifting equipment.
• Recycling of plastics, glass, tins, paper
• Travel in vehicle to premise/area
• Travel in vehicle to and from depot/disposal site.
• To assist the driver in manoeuvring or reversing the vehicle.
• To carry out all duties in accordance with the stated or Implied
• requirements of the work procedures.
• Take all reasonable action as may be necessary to ensure
• completion of the allocated workload.
• Deal with the public in a polite and helpful manner, giving due regard to
• their property.
• Remove spillage at the property or on the highway.
• Also have experience of waste paper bins and moving bulk products such as furniture.

I work 2 positions within bradford council ..one being an assistant unit manager in the kitchen at bowling park usher street, I basically run this kitchen as bowling park is a 2 unit school so I'm placed at this site been at this site for 2 years now I thoroughly enjoyed working here as I have established good relationships withing school with colleagues and children. I also work at Dixons manningham primary as a cleaning supervisor and I also enjoy working here as I have a great team whom I delegate and also made good relationships with staff in school to make sure if there is any problems at all that I can sort out to the best I can overall school is lovely to work with and also I work closely with hub managers.

There was a lot of variety in the role with every day being different, this gave me the opportunity to experience a lot of new situations and gain new skills. For example, working in the office, supervising children outside and inside the classroom. 

I learned about the importance of good time keeping. Preparing well in advance. I leaned to work well with other people and value their skills and contributing and no to be afraid to ask for help when I needed it. 

The hardest part of the job initially, was being able to contribute as much as the more experienced people who had worked there previously.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the variety and the opportunity to work with different people.

I enjoy Working at Eccleshill swimming pool, as i get to work with a great team. I also love working with the public and dealing with different situations day to day. i love to help customers out, with any problems or questions they may have about the sessions and classes available to them in the building. working there can be demanding as it dose get busy at peek times. But working as a team we help each other out to address these times. I would like to have the opportunity to progress to management but no opportunity is available at this time. Im always willing to learn new skills and help to make the work environment better and safer for customers and my work colleges.

Every session would vary with different activities, requirements and challenges and I learned a lot about interpersonal skills as well as using my initiative more while working for Bradford Council Youth Service. No day would be the same and each day would bring with it it's own challenges which is what I found stimulating and fun about the work as well as seeing how the young people benefited from our activities and projects that colleagues and myself delivered was ultimately rewarding. I really enjoyed working for Bradford Council Youth Service and the only thing that was challenging was the payment system although everything else I really enjoyed.
