Full job description

Overview
*We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including checking doors, windows, and other entry points for security breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Provide first aid assistance when required and ensure that all safety measures are in place.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and prepare detailed reports of incidents or breaches.
Assist in the training of new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
Maintain clear communication with management and other staff regarding security matters.

Experience

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is advantageous.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
Certification in first aid is desirable; candidates should be willing to obtain certification if not already held.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
