Full job description

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a MRO Electronic Technician to join us to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans. This will be based initially at our Staverton site but will be permanently based at our new Tewkesbury site.

The Role

As our MRO Electronic Technician you'll play an integral part in the functioning & success of our MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) teams, responsible and accountable for the fault diagnosis and return to service of various electronic products, ensuring that the finished product conforms to exacting quality and aerospace standards.

You will p rovide inspection and diagnostic fault finding of various electronic products and final unit instruments. You'll also be responsible for the assembly, test and inspection various electronic products and final unit instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies and high level technical build. Y

Ensuring that all assembly, test and repair functions are completed to the necessary quality standards – they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release.

About You

You'll have strong electronics experience and be confident working at component level. Ideally, you will have exposure to an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) environment. You'll need to be able to understand technical drawings and instructions. As well as the technical side, you'll be a great team player with a pro-active and positive attitude to problem-solving!!
