Full job description

Award winning waste management company based in Tring is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their Accounts department on a part time permanent basis. (Hours are negotiable for the right candidate).

The Role

To professionally and effectively assist in managing credit risk
To continually strive to foster even better working relationships with our internal and external customers
To deliver excellent Customer Service in all aspects of the role, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company goals.

Main Duties

To manage all aspects of the Customer Accounts
To establish excellent communication and working relationships with internal and external customers
To deal with queries and potential problems/issues quickly on own initiative, sensitively and assertively
To organise and plan own workload in order to meet all deadlines
To fit within the existing team and work effectively and professionally at all times
Routine Credit Control
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Adhoc Admin tasks

Requirements

Minimum Grade C GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Experience of busy credit control environment, as a controller
Working experience of Sales/Purchase Ledger
Basic understanding of financial accounts
Credit vetting
