Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a Housing Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing housing-related administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication between tenants and management, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in office administration and experience in property management systems. The Housing Administrator will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our residents while supporting the operational efficiency of our housing services.

Duties

Manage tenant rent account records and update data accurately using property management software.
Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate effectively with contractors and tenants to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain organised filing systems for all documentation, correspondence, and reports.
Support the preparation of reports and correspondence related to housing operations.
Provide administrative support to the property management team as required.

Experience

Proven experience in office administration, ideally within property or housing management.
Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Previous experience handling tenant or client communications via phone and email with professional etiquette.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Pay: £25,235.00 per year
