Full job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Optical Assistant to join our team at Braham Opticians on a full time role. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks in our optical department.

Responsibilities:

Assisting customers in selecting eyewear, frames, and lenses based on their specific needs and preferences.
Taking accurate measurements, such as pupillary distance, to ensure proper fitting of eyewear- training will be provided
Explaining lens options, coatings, and other features to customers - training will
Assisting with frame adjustments and repairs- training will be provided
Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the optical department.
Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

Previous experience as an optical assistant or in a similar role is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-oriented approach with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Must be able to work on Saturdays
