Job Title: Activity & Engagement Lead

Working Hours: full time

Job Overview:

To develop and plan programs, outings and events, staffing the events and implementing activities
To support and enable Service Users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget
To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge
To complete all relevant documentation and record activity engagement on resident's individual care plans.

Role Specific Duties:

Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting Service User’s preferences
Design and produce posters/newsletters to inform Service Users and their relative/friends what’s going on
Support Service Users to access internet and communication such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime
To create regular posts and updates for the home's website and social media
Plan events within allocated budget
Ensure Service Users are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.80 per hour
