Laundry Driver & Basic Maintenance Operative

Pureserviced is looking for a reliable and practical Laundry Driver & Basic Maintenance Operative to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining the collection and delivery of laundry across our serviced accommodation properties with basic maintenance tasks while out on site.

We are looking for someone dependable, organised and comfortable working independently. Previous professional maintenance experience is not essential – we are looking for someone practical who is happy to deal with straightforward jobs when required.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Collecting and delivering laundry and linen to our properties
Moving Cleaning teams from site to site
Loading and unloading laundry safely and efficiently
Following scheduled collection and delivery routes
Ensuring properties receive the correct laundry and linen requirements
Carrying out basic maintenance tasks while visiting properties
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues that require further attention
Helping with straightforward jobs such as changing light bulbs, tightening fittings, replacing batteries and other minor property maintenance
Keeping the vehicle clean, organised and ready for use
Communicating with the Housekeeping manager and team throughout the working day
Helping the wider team when operational support is required

What We're Looking For

You do not need to be an experienced maintenance professional.

The most important things are that you are:

An experienced and confident driver
Reliable and punctual
Practical and comfortable carrying out basic hands-on tasks
Able to work independently and manage your daily workload
Physically comfortable loading, unloading and moving bags of laundry
Professional when working in and around our properties
Able to spot problems and report them clearly to the team
Flexible and willing to help when required

A full UK driving licence is required
