Full job description

Job Summary
Here at Joinery & Heritage Joinery , we restore and paint sash windows in both commercial and domestic properties nationwide. We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes to sash windows. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a CSCS card and be able to provide two work references prior to interview due to the nature of the job.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Carry out repairs using RepairCare or similar system
Select appropriate paint types and colours based on project specifications.
Apply paint using brushes to achieve desired finishes.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Follow guidance from our Operations Manager or client and adhere to project timelines.

Skills

Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Strong painting skills with experience in various techniques and applications.
Ability to drive to different job sites in the North West as required.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively on multiple projects.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
