General Manager – Casa Bianca Restaurants

At Casa Bianca, we are more than just restaurants we are a proud Italian family-run business built on passion, tradition, hard work, and la dolce vita.

From our kitchens to our front-of-house teams, family values are at the heart of everything we do. With five successful restaurants across Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, Abergavenny, Usk, and Whitney-on-Wye, we have created warm, welcoming places where guests can enjoy great food, great service, and a true Italian atmosphere.

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Area Chefs to join the Casa Bianca family at one of our locations and help take our restaurants to the next level.

The Role

As an Area Chef you'll work throughout the Casa Bianca estate, supporting our kitchens, mentoring our teams and ensuring every restaurant consistently delivers the high standards our guests expect.

No two days will be the same. One day you may be supporting a busy Saturday service in Usk, the next helping implement a new seasonal menu in Merthyr, coaching a kitchen team in Pontypridd or assisting with recruitment and training in Abergavenny.

You'll be a key part of our operational leadership team, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Restaurant General Managers and Head Chefs to continuously improve performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Work across all Casa Bianca restaurants, adapting quickly to different kitchen environments.
Support Head Chefs and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional food quality and consistency.
Lead services where required and provide operational support during busy trading periods.
Coach, mentor and develop chefs at every level.
Assist with recruitment, training and induction of new kitchen team members.
Support the rollout of seasonal menus and new dishes.
Monitor food quality, presentation and consistency across the estate.
Help improve kitchen efficiency, food costs, stock control and labour management.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with the senior management team to improve operational performance.
Be a positive role model who leads by example and upholds Casa Bianca's values in every kitchen.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy restaurant environment.
Is confident leading multiple teams and adapting to different kitchens.
Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
Is passionate about fresh food, consistency and attention to detail.
Enjoys mentoring and developing people.
Thrives under pressure and leads by example.
Is flexible and willing to travel between all Casa Bianca locations.
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.
