Purpose

This is a great opportunity to join the Payroll team based out of the Paisley office. In this role you will support the administration of UK payrolls.

Responsibilities

Receive and respond to everyday payroll queries from employees
Carry out administrative activities to contribute to the smooth operation of UK payrolls
Processing end to end payroll responsibility for employees in the UK
Inputting and checking all aspects of the UK payroll, including starters, leavers and change data
Knowledge and application of statutory legislation SSP, SMP, ShPP etc.
Processing third party payments
Building and maintaining relationships with payroll contacts at site and shareholders in the business
Continuous improvement approach to all aspects of the role

Skills and Experience

Excellent numerical, analytical, literacy and communication skills
Competent in using all MIcrosoft Office Packages
Ability to prioritise your own workload
Team player who can step in to support when needed
Exposure to working in a payroll department is preferred
Basic knowledge of pension schemes is preferred
