Full job description

IG Masonry Support, headquartered in Swadlincote, is a leading innovator in the field of bespoke masonry support products.

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and design engineering teams, responsible for coordinating and facilitating activities that contribute to the seamless functioning of the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Management:

Log technical sales manager activities, schedule updates and prospects onto Keylink (in-house CRM);
Act as the CRM champion for IG Masonry Support Systems, ensuring accurate and current information.

Enquiry Handling:

Responsible for logging new enquiries and handing over to the design estimating team;
Make calls to customers, chase leads, schedules; make appointments and obtain drawings for new projects.

Administrative Support:

Provide support to the external sales team, assisting with various tasks to enhance efficiency;
Prepare and provide summaries and reports for key people within the team as required.

Meeting Preparation:

Collate review packs for sales managers when requested, preparing comprehensive materials for meetings with key customers;
Assist in populating senior manager and business review slides on a monthly basis.

Customer Visits:

Organise customer visits to the Swadlincote site, ensuring a positive and engaging experience;

Reporting:

Provide support in generating reports for line managers and other stakeholders.

Supporting Audits:

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and answering audit related queries.

Key Skills and Competencies

Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
