With three brand‑new care homes opening in 2026, we are seeking a dedicated Head of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping and laundry team in Bradford Hall and ensure our homes consistently deliver an exceptional environment for residents.About the RoleAs Head of Housekeeping, you will play a vital role in shaping the look, feel and experience of the home. You’ll lead and manage housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene are maintained at all times.This role goes beyond cleaning — it’s about creating an environment where residents feel comfortable, respected and truly at home.What You’ll Be Doing

Leading, supervising and developing the housekeeping and laundry team
Ensuring all areas of the home meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Overseeing laundry services with a focus on dignity, accuracy and care
Managing rotas, staffing levels and daily task planning
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with infection control, health & safety and hygiene standards
Carrying out audits and quality checks to ensure consistent excellence
Managing stock, supplies and ordering effectively
Working closely with the management team to support the overall operation of the home
Creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents, families and visitors

Who We’re Looking For

An experienced housekeeping professional with strong leadership skills
Someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused and takes pride in high standards
A confident team leader who can motivate and support others
Friendly, approachable and respectful of residents’ dignity and privacy
Able to manage multiple priorities in a calm and professional manner
Experience in a care, healthcare, hospitality or hotel environment is highly desirable

The Housekeeping service operates across a 7‑day programme. This is delivered by a team of Housekeeping and Domestic Assistants, working together on a rota basis to provide consistent engagement and support throughout the week.The role includes a balance of weekday and weekend working, with flexibility to respond to residents’ interests, special events and the evolving rhythm of life within the home.At Burghley Care, we believe exceptional care is supported by exceptional environments.
