Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking for a confident and motivated Sales Development Executive to join our growing software business.

We provide specialist software solutions to nursing and residential care providers across the UK, supporting medication management, electronic medication administration, care planning, compliance, reporting, and operational oversight.

This is primarily an outbound cold calling role. You will be responsible for proactively contacting care homes, speaking with managers and decision-makers, identifying their current software arrangements, qualifying potential opportunities, and booking product demonstrations for our internal sales team.

The business also works with an outsourced agency that supports us with data gathering and initial qualification. However, this role is not limited to following up on agency-generated leads. You will also be expected to carry out your own prospecting activity, contact target accounts directly, and generate new opportunities through outbound calling.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in cold calling, telesales, appointment setting, or sales development who is confident on the phone, target-driven, and comfortable speaking with business decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to care homes across the UK.
Speak with managers, owners, and decision-makers.
Introduce our software solutions and identify areas of interest.
Book demonstrations with our internal software sales team.
Follow up with prospects by phone and email.
Maintain accurate CRM records.
Manage call-backs and nurture future opportunities.
Work from qualified lead data provided by our outsourced calling agency.

Requirements

Confident and professional telephone manner.
Experience in outbound calling, telesales, or appointment setting.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Organised and able to manage follow-ups effectively.
Comfortable using CRM systems.
Resilient, target-driven, and self-motivated.
Experience in software, SaaS, healthcare, or the care sector is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
