Interim Senior Procurement Manager – 6-month contract – Immediate start
Based in Sevenoaks in Kent

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team. Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, this is an integral role supporting the period-end close and the accurate, timely production of management information for the Hand Picked Hotels group.

This is an interim role and will be based in our office in Sevenoaks – Kent.

What will the role involve?

Playing a key part in the period-end close, ensuring revenue and cost data is accurately posted and reconciled in line with USALI guidance.
Completing accruals and prepayments across the group within required reporting deadlines.
Recording and checking non-financial information, including occupancy and food & beverage covers, ready for management reporting.
Preparing and reconciling intercompany recharges and accounts, including loyalty scheme revenue claims.
Checking and posting stock journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Working with the Group Management Accountant to produce and issue accurate management reports across the business.
Maintaining fixed asset registers, including depreciation and working with the Asset Team to correctly account for disposals, gains and losses.
Building positive working relationships with finance colleagues and stakeholders across our hotels and central support teams.

You will be someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working collaboratively and is comfortable managing competing priorities around strict reporting deadlines. You will bring a methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
This role would suit someone looking to build their experience in management accounting within a multi-site hospitality business and who is keen to develop their finance career as part of a supportive central team.
Current experience of management accounts, bank reconciliation is required along with sage and sage intact.
Proficient in excel and Microsoft office 365.
